Hi there! We are a pair of female housemates (and two large dogs), living in a multicolored house, and we are looking for a third responsible person to join us. We are quiet and calm people, who go out if we want to party, though we will have the occasional quiet get together in the back yard. We keep a very clean household with a weekly chore roster, a strong recycling ethic, and daily dishes. Something important to know about our house is that we keep bees. The bees are in a sectioned off area in our front yard and you do not need to interact with them, or go near them, to live here. You can, however, get free honey if you choose to come and stay. We also keep chickens, and there is usually eggs available for the eating. Perks! The room we are offering has a built in wardrobe and a window with a view of the front yard. The house itself is compact but cute, with a neat little kitchen and a claw foot bathtub in the bathroom, an air-conditioner for summer and a wood fireplace for winter. We can offer you a vegetable garden if you would like to use it and a large yard with fruit trees. We have solar panels to off-set our electricity bills too, which is a plus. The house has a fast internet connection, but no home phone as we just use our mobiles. The house is fully furnished with all the essentials, like fridges and freezers and washer and dryer. Our house is well set up for sharing, so you will also have your own kitchen cupboard, own bathroom space and space for a bicycle in our bicycle shed. We share bills like electricity, internet and Netflix, but water is paid for by the landlord. The room is furnished with a bedside table, a bookshelf/storage unit, desk and chair, single bed and the built in wardrobe. If you prefer unfurnished, or only some of those furnishings, we are happy to discuss it. Some of the perks to our household are: A Bus stop only 5 minute walk away A Train stop only 10 minute walk away A beach only a 15 minute walk away Local shops in both directions An excellent local deli An amazing local pub And an outstanding local pizza bar! Great newly renovated house only 5 minutes from the beach with a huge backyard. 25 minutes from the city, 15 minutes to Westfield west lakes, great value property! The room available is unfurnished so you would have to provide your own bed etc. and we are in the process of furnishing the common areas as we have both only recently moved in.

Location, location, we are directly across from the beach at the quieter end of Semaphore, just look out the lounge window and the beautiful beach is right there. The home is older but it has been well looked after, the room on offer is at the back of the house, it doesn't have a built in wardrobe but is quite large. The backyard is quite large with two sheds, so if you need to store anything you will have more than enough room. We have one dog at the house but he isn't a fan of other dogs so unfortunately we can have any more pets at the property.

I'm currently renting out a room in my cute little cottage in Rosewater. It's a 5 minute walk to Alberton train station (15-20 minute train ride to the city), 5 minutes from Port Adelaide and close to the beach. There's a bus stop to the CBD 2 min walk from the house. Bills are paid separately and split evenly. The house has 2 king sized bedrooms and 1 smaller bedroom/study. There is a newly renovated kitchen, a shared bathroom, a large backyard and second courtyard, and a big laundry. I'm in the process of furnishing all of the house except for your bedroom and any furniture you'd want to put in the study. I've lived here for a few years, the neighbours are lovely and we like the street! I'm pretty flexible to get someone into the smaller room if we're finding the house too big or wanting to split bills. The room you'd be renting out is huge. There's a double inbuilt wardrobe, an optionally provided dresser, and so (!!!) much room for extra furniture. Possibly even room for your own sofa and chill out space. The rooms are neat and tidy, but is a bit old and tired. However, I like the charm of it and would much prefer the space over a small and modern house.
