Hi, I'd like to introduce you to the flat beneath my house. It's a self-contained 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen/dining room with a separate bathroom. The bedroom itself is quite large and will fit even a kingsize bed, there are also built-ins for clothes. Quality, the place is probably 2/5. The place is completely unfurnished, you would need to bring your own furniture/whitegoods in order to make the place livable. It is also pet-friendly up to 1-2 cats or a very small quiet dog. There's an adjacent garage which the flat can open directly into that's only used for storage, you could stretch out into this space for your own needs. The kitchen has a gas stove, so you'd be required to start up your own gas account with a company to keep things filled as they run out. Also, during the transition, I'd be happy to share the upstairs wifi internet and laundry while you get things sorted out long-term. Note: While the place does not require a bond and has a low price, there is a issue with heavy rains sometimes causing water to seep into the flat. This rarely happens but it's only fair to mention it. Transport: The house is a 5 minute walk from the 61/375/385 bus stop in Bardon, you're never waiting long to get a bus into the city. The general area: The place sits on a street with a large park, there are also a few gyms within walking distance. Bush tracks near Mt Cootha are nice too. Major shopping centres are a bit further away and you'd probably prefer to drive. Who also lives at the location: Upstairs there is a 20's female and 30's male who work full-time in the city. We are pretty chilled out upstairs and a bit geeky. We like our internet fast for games so are a bit reluctant on sharing it with downstairs. There's also an indoors-only cat upstairs.
