Location, convenience, character, potential! Lovely old bungalow in Dulwich with only one housemate. The house has character. That much I can guarantee you. I would strongly advice that you come check out the place before applying with the agency. Plus, of course I'd like to meet you to see if we can get along. You're welcome to add on furniture if you have any. You really can't beat this location. Dulwich is an old neighbourhood, quiet, easily accessible and peaceful. It's an 8 minute cycle to the city or under a half hour walk via Victoria Park to Hutt Street. You could even easily walk to Burnside Village and the closest grocery shop is a 2 minute walk and opens til 9pm! Plus, cafes all around and the prettiest hidden gem of a rose park just 5 minutes walk from the house. Room 2 up for rent has an attached verandah/balcony/sunroom enclosed in it's own space with a powerpoint plug in the area! So jealous, it would be amazing in summer! It will be unfurnished so you're welcomed to bring your own furniture. However, I'm happy to help source a bed if you need it furnished. It's facing the backyard so privacy isn't an issue. Room 3 is a tiny room I'm thinking of converting into a guest room or study room. I already have a sturdy queen sized pull out couch in the living room if you or I have a guest staying over so maybe room 3 can be a study room. I'm open to ideas from a new housemate. On top of that, there is a huge shed which I have stored several things in but you are welcomed to make use of the rest of it. Maybe make it a mancave/sheshed? The only issue is that there is no electricity in the shed. As for the garden, I have a mate coming over to mow the lawns for a carton of beer every month so you needn't worry about that. Of course, renting this house is subject to the approval from the agency. If you have a good history of renting and a secure job I'm sure you won't have a problem as they checked those things with my application. However the bond is AUD$1,350 but Flatmates.com would not offer me that option so please bear that in mind before applying. We have this place until early June 2020. At the end of the tenancy (SA laws state that tenancy agreement has a maximum of 12 months only according to the agency) I will be renewing for another 12 months. Spacious shower with natural light and an inviting living space for socialising. Unfortunately, we can't have any pets and it is a no smoking house.
