Room available in West Hobart. The house is 20/30 mins walk to the CBD at the top of a steep hill in Forest Road. The elevated position offers an amazing view (Derwent river from the Tasman Bridge to the Casino, kunanyi/Mount Wellington).The house has a centralised gas heating with panel heaters in every room. The spare rooms are situated at the bottom level of the house and have views out over the garden. They allow for lots of privacy. Guest toilet + shower is upstairs, and there is an extra toilet downstairs. Plenty of on street parking but it is a quiet road. Big kitchen fully equipped. However, WE DO NOT COOK MEAT IN THE HOUSE AND OUR GUESTS ARE USUALLY VEGETARIAN OR DO NOT COOK MEAT DURING THEIR STAY. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. We don't mind about people having take-away non vegetarian food. We have 3 cats.

Location is awesome and this is one of the reason why I pick this house, just 2 second you can be on highway and 2 minutes into the city, bus is also available if don't feel like driving, plenty of on street parking which is a big relief. The house got a genuous size of bedrooms which could give you enough room for furnitures into however you like it and got plenty of sun in the morning and afternoon. Living room is cosy with a good sound system which I spend most of my time there working. Kitchen got gas stove top which cooks amazing and quick, and the backyard is a good size for summer bbq party.
The house has 5 bedrooms (so plenty of space), internet and Netflix included, great views of Mount Wellington from the room 😊. Sunny, second storey room. It's a great central location - easy walking distance to the city (about 5 -10mins), close to the Aquatic Centre and Botanical Gardens. It has heating, a modern kitchen with all the essentials like a dishwasher so it makes this an easy task :), and a nice bathroom with a spa bath for those times you just want to really relax and a sunny outdoor patio with an enclosed back veranda that catches the sun. At this stage I am only looking to have a total of 3 (including me in the house).

Beautiful old home, three bedrooms, veranda and lovely outdoor area. Great location, close to cafes, public transport but with heaps of parking. Views to Mt Direction and of Kunanyi out the back window. Lovely light in every room.
It is a great solid house with heaps of character and very homely. Clean and tidy too. Share spaces are large and there are two gorgeous sunrooms overlooking the stunning view north to the Derwent and distant mountains. Separate laundry, dunny, lockable underhouse, garage, garden and org veggie patch. The kitchen is stylish and new with mod cons. Bus stop a few paces away has you in town in 10 mins. Or equally zoomy on a bike. Nice to cycle or walk around the neighbouring Queens Domain and Botanical Gardens too. It's a good lifestyle.
The home is located on a bus route and is close to the CBD and the University. It is in a quiet and safe area and is situated among trees and some wildlife. There is some water views although small. Lots of sun and fresh air, close to shops and on a bus stop and main terminal. I have Netflix and reverse cycle air conditioning and am equipped with a good kitchen and all appliances. The home is modern and clean. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Large garden area. This is a non smoking, no drug home.
I am offering a spacious, furnished room in my home which attracts lots of sun as it faces North. It is in a quiet area, leafy and green surroundings with some wildlife. Some view of the city and bridge and Derwent from Patio. The home is air conditioned or reverse cycle and is reasonable to run. I do have small dogs who are friendly so you would need to like dogs to live here. This is a no smoking house and a quiet one.
