Hello potential housemate! My name is Brock and I am 20. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Mech) with Bachelor of Science (Astrophysics) at the University of Adelaide. This year will be my fifth year living in Adelaide (two years experience living with flatmates) after spending the preceding 11 years in Tasmania, and 5 in Western Australia where I originate from.
My hobbies include weightlifting, gaming, I love driving and working on my car. While I am more of an introverted, laid-back individual, I like to keep things neat, but don't mind a bit of mess.
Socially, I'm not too much a fan of spending evenings in the inner city, even though its so close to walk, but prefer the East End, and general pub nights with mates, or sitting in and playing games/studying. Depending on where I am on my own routine and discipline, I can either be a super early bird or a night owl, and either way, I try my best not to disturb others.
I completely respect that people's space is THEIR space, however shared areas in the property are to be shared and I appreciate people who understand that housework goes ~50/50.
Personally I find it easier to keep things like cooking and washing separate from one another. For example, I like to meal prep and wash my dishes straight after use.
I look forward to hopefully discussing this opportunity to live so close to the city with you.
