Room for Rent – Renovated Home in Albany Creek | Student or Working Professional

A private, air conditioned room is available in our beautifully renovated and well appointed five bedroom home on Brisbane’s north side in Albany Creek. The room is fully furnished, as is the house. Our most recent student has just moved out, so we’re now looking for the right person to join our home.

This is a relaxed, respectful family household and would suit a student or working adult who is comfortable living in a family home. The two younger children are here on a week on, week off arrangement, so every second week the house is very quiet. We have previously hosted au pairs and students, so sharing with a house guest or flatmate is very normal for us.

The room is located downstairs near the front entrance, while the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs, providing a good level of privacy. The room is air conditioned and furnished with a bed, desk, and chair. You will have your own space in the second fridge and some pantry space. There is a powder room nearby the bedroom, and a shared bathroom with the children upstairs, when they are home.

The home is modern, spacious, and well maintained, with a swimming pool, outdoor spa and ping pong table. Street parking is available.

We are a really easy going, social household, however this is not a party house. We value a calm, respectful environment. Pets are not permitted.

Great location with walking distance to public transport, local shops, and essential amenities, and easy access to the city and the USC Petrie campus.

The adults in the house work full time and the kids are at school. They are aged 16 and 9, both boys and both really easy going, cool kids!

We’re looking for someone who is clean, respectful, independent, and easy to live with. Ideally aged 18+.
