About the property
Hi crazy cats! We’re looking for a new housemate to move in around the 6th of Feb!! Sadly, our current housemate situation is coming to an end because our 4th has decided to take the plunge and move in with her partner!

The room is sizeable and has a built-in cupboard, a ceiling fan, and access to the front deck.
ABOUT THE HOUSE
The home is ideally located: a 5 min walk away from three separate bus stops. 15 min drive or 25 min bus ride to Brisbane City. 5 min drive of 10 min bus to Paddington Central. 5 min drive, 20 min walk or 20 min bus ride to the local shops. The house is on a quiet street with some cute parks and cafés around.
The house includes high-speed Wi-Fi, built-in ceiling fans and central air-conditioning in the communal spaces. We have a beautiful large kitchen, a gas oven and stove, two fridges, and ample pantry space. The communal spaces are generously sized and have plenty of natural light. There is a bathroom which you will share with Nicole and an extra toilet in the laundry. There are two garage spaces (so if you have a car, we can discuss equitable use of the garage spaces between us), otherwise there is plenty of street parking! We’ve also got a lovely back deck and leafy backyard which comes with a compost, clothesline and macadamia nut tree.
Utilities include internet, water, electricity and gas, which are paid on a monthly or quarterly basis. The quarterly cost of these utilities is ~$350-400.

ABOUT THE HOUSEMATES
You’d be moving in with Nicole and a couple, Sam and Codee.
Nicole (27F): I am a full-time working woman in the Health Admin field. I enjoy hanging out with friends, heading out for dinner and drinks, and maybe even a lil karaoke if you’re lucky. I love a good games night aided by a few wines! I like to rock climb when I get the chance and be warned I do like to whip out Just Dance every now and again and I do have spare controllers if you’re up for a dance battle!
Sam (28M): I am currently in between jobs at the moment having quit my management role at EB Games. If that didn't give it away, I am big into video games, Magic the Gathering, and DND. I really prioritise my alone time but am also very willing to hangout.
Codee (27F): Hiii, I am an archaeologist working in heritage and in the first year of my PhD. I love the usual stuff like going out with friends, cheeky drinks and hiking. I also enjoy the simple pleasures of cooking, reading, gaming, fibre art and yoga. I am passionate about recycling and am known to make a poo joke or two.
Bluey: 12-year-old male short-hair domestic cat. He’s super sweet and friendly. He is an old and anxious man who is dealing with some health issues at the moment, so we are not likely to consider any new pets in the home to try and help him through the process. Hope you can understand.
About us: We are a pretty laid-back house and would like to consider ourselves as all grounded and understanding individuals. We enjoy hanging out as a group when the stars align but also respect each other’s personal time and space. We love to dabble in a few games whether of the PC or the board variety. We also like to have housemate dinners when we have the capacity. We’re not a huge rager house but we’re very accepting of having friends over and hosting little gatherings and are usually eager for a little socialising!
We like to keep things clean in all the communal areas, and we try to equitably divide the household chores and responsibilities.
