Full time worker with 2 kids every 2nd weekend (their room is upstairs), We live downstairs most of the time, only really come upstairs to cook and dine and for the boys to sleep.
I'm happy to have my kids downstairs in my bathroom for bathing so leaving the upstairs bathroom for the upstairs flatmate/s.
Can possibly set up a lounge area for the kids downstairs if you'd like the upstairs lounge for the upstairs flatmate/s only, keeping in mind that the kids are only here 1 night a fortnight.
