About the property
Ground floor apartment. Bedroom is approximately 4m x 3m. You will have your own bathroom as I have an ensuite. Bedroom has a wardrobe, mirror, carpet, block-out blinds and curtains. (Great for shift workers). It has a spare bed, bedside tables, and a tallboy chest of drawers. If the right housemate has furniture, I can remove the bed/drawers etc to put your own furniture in the room.
I have a nice size courtyard also.
Ducted aircon. Dishwasher.
Happy for you to use my kitchen utensils/everything.
Washing machine and dryer. Also air dryers to hang clothes.
There is a pool on site. (It is not heated, so its cold in winter).
No car park available on site for you. There is street parking available (I believe $20 for a parking permit).
I am a 3-4 minute walk to Fairfield Train station. A couple of bus routes within walking distance. Walking distance to Fairfield Gardens shopping Centre.
All bills (water, electricity, internet etc) are included in rent. I also have Netflix which you can use.

Hi, I'm Steve. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Fairfield. Currently living solo. Looking at getting a suitable housemate in the spare room.
I am 40 years old, single, gay, male, non-smoker. I’m a Firefighter so I do shift work. I work a rotating roster which is 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, 4 days off. In my spare time I like to stay active, hike, gym, bike ride, walk, swim, go to the beach (in summer), try new adventures with friends, anything social catching up with family and friends. I enjoy a bevy or two, mostly social with friends. I like to travel, so always looking at a new getaway! I enjoy watching basketball and footy (NRL, but like the Lions AFL also)
I also enjoy some downtime at home, Netflix on the couch is my general relax. I am mostly a social chatty person, however when I am tired, I am generally less chatty. lol.
I am a bit sarcastic, dark humour, not easily offended, love good banter.
I am a dog person, however do not have one. I dog sit my sister’s dog on the odd occasion.
I am clean and tidy around the main living area in general. Think Monica from friends…
I am pretty easy going on most accounts, but I do like clean. Especially kitchen and bathrooms.
Housemate... I am open to male or female, age roughly between 30-49, straight or gay. I do not mind a housemate having friends or a partner over every now and then, as I do at times also. It's about respecting each others space and work schedules, but good to be social.
I’m all about just having a good vibe with a housemate.
I like open and honest communications. If something is bothering you about the living situation, be honest and we can discuss. Don't let it fester. We both need to be happy with the living arrangement.
Happy to cook individually, or if our schedules and tastebuds align, share a meal every now and then together.
Not accepting housemates who smoke or vape.
I will be wanting to catch up and meet potential housemates in person a couple of times so we can see each others vibe, and see if we get along. I do need to have the right vibe with someone I live with.
