The room for rent is big and luminous, with two windows to the garden. There is a king mattress, wardrobe, cabinets and a bed/sofa that can stay or go, depending on the new housemate needs. The house has a garden, garage, a toilet, a shared bathroom, a dining room with a piano and a living room with a big shared TV. There is brand new aircon in the dining room, which is right in front of the room for rent. The house is 5' from Fraifield Gardens shopping center, bus and train stop. The house is just on the other side of UQ St Lucia campus and only 15' ride with the bicycle. The neighborhood is full of green areas, peaceful and safe. And only 15' walking distance from PA hospital. But maybe the most important thing is that if you love dogs, this is your place :). I am not the only tenant of the house: Two super friendly dogs will love to snuggle with you on the sofa while you watch a movie. They had also a good feeling for leaving me alone when I needed some time and space for myself. Staying with Tarli & Mike was the best decision for my time in Brisbane and in Australia and I would never think about another place to stay in the future."

However if you would rather bring your own furniture you are more then welcome too. Other then that it's move in ready. The location is central for a lot of the univeristies too! UQ - It's only a 10 minute bike ride or there is plenty of buses available. Griffith South Bank campus - 20 minute bike ride or a 10 minute bus trip Griffith Nathan / Mount Gravatt campus - 15 minute drive or plenty of buses or trains available. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk from the house as well as all the shops at Fairfield Gardens (coles, 7-11, snap fitness, post office etc). The train station is just behind the shopping centre too which is extremely handy. Everything is in walking distance! This place is also really close to South Bank and West End without the hussle of the city (only 10 minutes on the bus into the city). Fairfield is surrounded by ovals and parks so most of the people living in the area are all younger families which is sweet. Hi, I am looking for someone to take over my room as I am moving out on the 20th of October. It is located in walking distance to UQ, just a ten-minute walk to the green bridge. There is also a nearby shopping centre with a Coles and a brand new Aldi and restaurants/cafes. The room is 3500x2300 mm. It is large enough to fit my queen bed and large desk. The room can come furnished or unfurnished (but not with the furniture pictured) and the house is fully furnished. Our house is very close to Fairfield train station (500 mts), and walking distance to Coles as well as 196 bus which will take you into the city. The house is very spacious, beautiful and peaceful, and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, yet friendly :) The room available is spacious, and nice windows that allow for lots of natural light. Our house has a great insulation system, making it very fresh to stay in during those hot summer days :) The room will be available from early December to February. Though the bedrooms are unfurnished the rest of the house has everything you need i.e. furniture and cookware. The property is under 500m walk to Fairfield train station, Fairfield Gardens shopping centre, Jetts and Snap Fitness gyms and numerous restaurants. The house is very close to the city with lots of buses running all the time. There are numerous takeaways about 2 minutes walk and Woolworth is about 200 meters away. The house is very quite as we don't have party's due to the other flat mates work long hours and study. There is also a 24 hour gym about 200 meters away
I'm looking for someone to take my place on the lease i share with my housemate. It's a year long lease that lasts until July 4, 2019. I'm looking for someone to move in ASAP, although you will have to be approved by the owner first. The flat is small but it's nice, bedrooms are a really good size. The occupied room has its own entrance so you might not even notice Jess coming and going so much. The rest of the flat furnished (including a TV, washing machine, huge fridge, dining table and sofa), you just have to bring stuff for your room, but if you need a bed there is a double mattress available that you can have! You'll have the bigger master bedroom that has a lot of good natural lighting and a small built in wardrobe. (photos available right now are furnished while my former flatmate was still living here, but there's plenty of room for a queen bed, desk, extra storage, anything you'd want really) There's air-conditioning in the living area but not in the bedrooms, though they do keep pretty cool in the summer with the large windows. Public transport is all very close, buses into the city and fairfield station are only a short walk away. Woolworths, Annerley Library and several different gyms are also in walking distance! There's also an offstreet parking spot available, as well as plenty of street parking on a pretty quiet street. Not included in the rent is unlimited wifi that's about 30 dollars each a month, and electricity which is paid every 3 months. If you're clean and pay the bills on time I'd love to hear from you!
