About the property
Looking for a single occupant to take over Lizzy’s room. The room is Bed 2 shown highlighted on the floor plan in the photos. It has an entrance onto the front balcony through bifold doors, and a hallway door entrance.
The advertising rent is inclusive of bills. Note the 4 weeks of bond is inclusive of 2 weeks of rental advancement and 2 weeks for Bond damages.
Currently we have two dogs, a Swiss Shepard (Waverlie’s) and a kelpie(mine). We are not taking any applicants with pets currently, apologies.
Prefered applicant would be a clean female, 20 - 30 year old that fits in seamlessly with the current house dynamic.
We are quite a social household, with a comfortable shared living space, however we respect others personal space making it easy to allow for alone time and privacy.
We are open to male applicants that fit the above description, however it will be a joint decision and Waverlie’s preference is to live with another female.
A bit about the current tenants:
The house is located in a super convenient location being only:
A 5 minute walk to the RBWH, gardens point QUT campus and UQ medical campus. 15 minute walk to the valley. Super friendly living environment and neighbourhood.
House is fully equiped with white goods including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and fridge. (Meal prep takes a fair bit of fridge vacancy, so if you have a small bar fridge or your own that would be super useful. Otherwise I will buy one if it’s too crowded)
Ideal applicant aged 20-30, who are like minded, easy going, clean and suitable for shared living spaces. Please don’t apply if your are a couple wanting to take the single room, we only have the one bathroom so a 4 person living arrangement would be challenging.
Again, please NO CATS, pets will be considered on a case by case basis 😊 but ideally no pets at this stage.
Inspections can be organised anytime on the weekend, most of the day Friday, and potentially mid week availability depending on Waverlie’s rostered hours.

About the flatmates
Waverlie:
I’m a 24 years old female. I work for queensland racing most days. Outside of work I’m either at gym or walking my dog, Boss, who is a friendly, and loving giant. I take training pretty serious and consider myself a very regimented and disciplined person.
Darcy:
I’m a 29 year old male structural engineer, working in the industrial sector, specialising in ports and marine structures. I occasionally go away for work and typically work from the office 4 days a week. Like Waverlie, outside of work I enjoy exercise, particularly gym. I am a keen spearfisho and will take all opportunities to get out. I also enjoy fishing and of course spending time with Remy, my gorgeous and loving Kelpie.
We both get along great and enjoy socialising on weekends or after work, whilst also being comfortable having alone time and respecting each others space. We are both super laid back and looking for someone similar to fit in!
