-The house is in Herston 4006 on a quiet street, close to RBWH, QUT Kelvin Grove, Victoria Park, and Brisbane Showgrounds, with easy access to the CBD.
Rent and Bills:
-Rent: $215 per week (each of available rooms rent is this price)
-Your share of the bond: $880
-Utilities (water, gas, electricity, internet) are paid separately and vary month to month
-Gardening costs are shared between housemates (~$33 every 3 weeks)

-Both rooms are unfurnished, upstairs, and share the upstairs bathroom and toilet. The kitchen, living areas, and laundry are downstairs.

Bright and airy with two large windows and plenty of morning sun. Includes a built-in wardrobe with hanging space (drawers can easily be added). Can comfortably fit a double or queen bed, bedside tables, and a dresser. Ceiling fan included.

You’ll be living with two full-time workers. I’m a 25 year old female working at a nearby mental health hospital, and the other housemate staying is a 31 year old male who works full time as a dogger and rigger on cranes. The two rooms available are being advertised separately and are currently occupied by a couple who are moving out as they’re keen for a change of scenery and to live just the two of them.
We’re close friends and pretty social on the weekends. We enjoy catching up with friends, going to gigs, having a few drinks, and the occasional movie night. He’s into video games and plays guitar, and I enjoy pilates, tennis, and piano, so there’s often music playing around the house. That said, we also respect each other’s space and downtime.
We’re looking for like minded, similar aged flatmates who are clean, considerate, and keen to live in a friendly house. Male or female flatmates are both welcome. We’re hoping to find people who want a home, not just a room.
He’s originally from Perth and moved in at the start of 2025, and I’m from the Sunshine Coast and have been here since early 2022. I’m planning to stay for about another year before moving overseas, so ideally we’re after flatmates happy to sign a one year lease.
