About the property

The house is a charming old Queenslander with almost everything on the second floor. Downstairs is just the garage and laundry with heaps of storage.
The room is spacious and it has aircon. Definitely space for a queen bed.
There is only one bathroom between the three of us, and the toilet is separate. Great water pressure in the shower.
We have a lovely outlook with lots of trees around us and we get a nice breeze.

About the flatmates

Hello!
We’re Carla and Emma, and we’re both teachers in our late twenties. We are looking for someone to join our relaxed, tidy share house in Holland Park.
We’re advertising a private room with a shared bathroom.
We are looking for someone who is willing to sign the lease for another 12 months when it comes up in March.
We split everything three ways. The rent and all bills are distributed equally. The rent is $258 per week but it will go up to $262 pw in March when we renew the lease.
We’re looking for someone reliable who always pays bills on time and values open communication as we do. We don’t mind visitors but this isn’t a party house.
The move in date can be flexible as our current housemate is still looking for a new place. His name is on the lease until March, but he would ideally like to move out by the end of January as he starts a new job on the Gold Coast.
Holland Park is a lovely quiet neighbourhood, with easy public transport into the city. We like to do our own thing most of the time and have a bit of a chat in the kitchen most evenings, but also enjoy our privacy.
