It MIGHT be possible for you to have one small fur baby - under 5 kg and housetrained. To be discussed. (We would have to have a meet and greet in advance to ensure that our fur babies got along.)

Regardless, you must love animals. I have two small old dogs, and a 14-year-old ragdoll cat. Then there’s the blue cherry shrimp tank open (currently in your room), the 4 foot tank in the living area downstairs with variety of fish in it, meant three smaller tanks with ender guppies and red, blue and yellow cherry shrimp.

Let’s not forget my four green tree frogs that live in a vivarium in the living room. I’ve had them for about eight years now. They’re pretty quiet, but the one boy might start croaking if the kettle‘s boiling, or if it starts to rain, or if the toilet flashes, or if you have a shower…

I also have two budgies up in my bedroom.

I have always had pets, and I will always have pets. I take good care of them myself. There is no expectation whatsoever for you to feed or clean up after any of my pets. You will, however, be required to like my furbabies, as they will have full access to the house – except your bedroom 😊

I’m a straight, cis female, 50 something old woman, semi retired on a part pension, who works from home from my three bedroom townhouse. I am not bigoted at it towards anyone.

The main bedroom is mine and I have an ensuite. The bedroom next to mine is my office. It’s a mess, but you are welcome to use it, and to utilise my newly upgraded PC. This bedroom is to remain an office. It is only intended for there to ever be just me and one other person (you) living here.

Your bedroom is the third bedroom. Until recently, it was my 22-year-old daughter’s room. The photos are as the room is, as she left it, LOL

Of course, I will tidy it up, and make sure it is clean and ready to move into.

There’s a queen bed with queen mattress. I can provide sheets and doona if needed.

There’s a bedside cabinet. There’s another cabinet with the little fish tank on it has fish tank stuff in it. There are little blue cherry shrimp in the 1 foot fish tank. The small filter and bubbler are going 24 hours a day. Most people find this to be white noise but, if you really can’t put up with it after you’ve tried, I’m sure we could move it elsewhere.

The three bedrooms are all upstairs in my two story townhouse. Upstairs simply consists of my bedroom and ensuite, my office, and the furnished bedroom for rent.

There is also a second bathroom upstairs, with a bath and shower, which would be considered your bathroom, but hopefully you won’t mind if visitors can use it from time to time. (I have very few visitors 😊) (You could safely keep your own bathroom items in the bathroom for no one else’s use).

I am a bit of a night owl. My sleeping hours are crazy – all over the place. I could be out watching Netflix until 4:30 am in the morning on occasion. More likely until 130 or two am 😊

I tried to keep the volume down and, with your bedroom door closed you can’t hear much noise. But we would have to be mindful that each other might like to watch TV at any time of the day or night, and that we could try and be as quiet as possible, but that we should both have earplugs, or headphones, or some thing else so that it won’t become an issue for either of us 😊

The room doesn’t have a TV, but you’re welcome to bring your own, or I’m sure I could come up with one quite quickly.

Your bathroom is clean and tidy, and is always kept that way 😊 Your bedroom will be clean and tidy before you move in 😊 at my bedroom is always messy, no matter how hard I try. It’s pretty much similar with the rest of my place. Even though it’s only me living here now, I do have trouble keeping up with the housework.

The house is clean and pest free, but it is messy and I have a slight hoarding problem according to my daughter – and she’s probably right 😊

Downstairs is the kitchen, dining room/living area, and a small internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer, and a toilet. There is also a clothesline outside.

I hardly spend any time in the downstairs living area – I’m mostly in my room 😊

It’s also a kitchen. I don’t cook much – it’s mostly the microwave. I don’t even have air fryer, as I only used three or four times a year, so my daughter took it with her when she moved into her new place 😊

I do have a microwave, a clean oven, a stove, a fridge, and a microwave, all of which you are welcome to use.

There is a swimming pool at the complex.

There is a small back patio area, which has a lot of plants in it, and it’s a bit messy, and I’m working on tidying it up. But, if you are a smoker, it’s a perfectly good place for you to smoke your cigarettes or vapes 😊

Prescription holding medical marijuana smokers are fine.

I am an occasional drinker. I don’t care if you drink, but please definitely not to the everyday stage…

If you have a partner, I gather that you’ll spend some nights at their place, and they will spend some nights at your place. Under no circumstances are there to spend every night here 😊

You cannot park in the visitor spots at the complex – if you have a vehicle you will have to find street parking.

It’s about 1.2 km walk to Lawnton train station, but there’s a bus stop 200 m walk away.

Ideal for a woman looking for a safe place.

It’s a gated community. The gate is locked at 7 pm every night, and you will require a code to get in.

There is a small pool in the complex for residents.

I’m home all the time. I spent about 10% of the time in my office, 10% of the time in the kitchen or my ensuite or the gardens, and the rest of the time, when I’m home, I’m in my room, with my furbabies.

Rent includes wifi/internet, electricity (including the reverse cycle air-conditioner in your bedroom), and water.

We each buy our own food and personal items.

You would need to provide your own laundry detergent, and toilet cleaner for your bathroom, but all other cleaning materials are included.

You would need to provide me with ID, so that you can prove that you are who you say you are. I will, of course, do the same 😊
