The house is hi-set wit only a five minute walk to the Lota Park waterfront and five minute the Lota train station. We are also only a a ten minute walk along the waterfront to the Manly Harbour Village. See website for details. https://www.manlyharbourvillage.com/eat

Room is 5 meters by 3.6 meters and is partially furnished with double bed, large walk in robe, basic desk with new office chair. Can be unfurnished as well.

There is a covered back patio downstairs that overlooks a nice very leafy garden. Great for bird watching.

We are looking for non smokers/vapers only, who are preferably working full time.

Including my self we will be three person household. . May take short terms stays but preference given to 6 to 12 months or longer. I have been renting one or two rooms here for over twenty years. Our most recent house mate was here for five years.

This is not a party house. This is a clean , tidy and peaceful house where we respect each others space, beliefs and privacy.

As for me I was for over twenty years an environmental activist with a degree in Anthropology and Asian History and have at various times, worked for Greenpeace, ACF and The Wilderness Society. After this I became a bespoke furniture maker working with recycled timbers.

Prior to living here I lived on my sail boat at the Manly East Coast Marina. I love living here because of the the access to water , great cycle ways , markets , fishing , birdwatching, eateries, easy access to train, the sea breezes and the quietness.

A second furnished bedroom with separate study, is available at $210 per week.
The room is 3.3 metres by 3. metres and is fully furnished with single bed, chest of drawers, built in robe, bedside table, tall bookshelf.
Can be unfurnished as well.

The study is the same size as the bedroom. In fact either room could be used as bedroom or study.
