About the property
Fully-furnished bedroom available in our beautiful share house in Salisbury! The house has tall ceilings, a gorgeous deck and backyard, and a relaxed energy that makes you feel at home! This is a space for someone who values both independence and connection in a comfortable, respectful household.
The room and house:
The room has gorgeous wooden floorboards and is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe (coming soon) - you will have to bring your own linen. It gets beautiful natural light all day, and has a set of sheer blinds and darker blinds. The bathroom upstairs will be shared, and you will have access to the lounge, kitchen, downstairs laundry, and you will have carport parking, or there is plenty of street parking. There is also a downstairs bathroom which you are able to use if you’d like. The house has a gorgeous deck with outdoor furniture and a large backyard, perfect for quiet mornings and casual catchups. There are a total of 4 people living in this space, with 1 person in a studio downstairs which is currently occupied.
Location:
The house is located in beautiful Salisbury, close to Supernumerary coffee, 7/11 servo, and lots of food options. Toohey Forest is just down the road!
Cost and Lease details:
Rent is 300$ a week, bills excluded but split between 5 housemates. You will also be expected to contribute and split the cost of any household items (cleaning products, soaps, toilet paper, etc). Rent is paid fortnightly via bank transfer. A minimum of 3 months lease is expected with the option to extend!

About the flatmates
The people:
You will be joining 3 friendly, sociable, and respectful siblings/housemates! Rishi is just starting university and loves to make music and DJ. Sharang is in his second year of uni and loves to explore the hottest places in Brisbane. Both the boys work casual jobs alongside studying. Ira works full-time as a NDIS support coordinator, and is studying a masters of social work. She is very much down to watch shows together, go to the markets, or on a Hot Girl Walk! All 3 of us love to cook dinner together, we love our music, and we love to spend quality time together. The vibe of the house is quiet, calm, with a value for personal space, but also shared meals, conversations, and friendship catchups. This is not a party house at all.
Who we’re looking for:
You will be ideally a female in her mid-20’s, working full time and/or studying. You should be sociable, clean, organised, and able to communicate openly. Someone who has their own hobbies and interests but enjoys spending time with the rest of us in the house and aids to the positive, quiet, clean environment of the home. Pets and couples are not considered, sorry!
House culture:
This is a strict non-smoking, no drugs, no party household. Alcohol is fine, and so is music as long as volume is considered. Having some friends over is fine as long as there is mutual respect, and quiet hours are observed between 10pm to 7am. Common areas and household items (including the TV) is free for use. We maintain a shared cleaning effort and roster to make sure all the bigger house cleans are done at a regular time. It is expected that dishes are done before bed / leaving the house and that shared spaces are respected and left as you found them.
