Single room in a 3 bedroom house. You would be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with one other male housemate only. I live downstairs in my own space. The third bedroom is kept as a storage. I don't mind which room is my storage room so you have the option of choosing your preferred room between the 2 single rooms.

I prefer a non-drinker, non-smoker, health-concious, day-time working person, who is quiet, responsible, consiserate, and is upfront about any issues.

Included in rent are unlimited internet, water, electricity, use of sheets and towels, and many consumable supplies.

There is an all-of-house water filtration system so every tap has filtered water that is just like bottled water. Great for drinking, skin, and laundry.

The bedroom furniture in the photos is flexible i.e. there is more to choose from depending on your preferences. It could be different on the day you inspect the house.

A professional cleaner does the communal areas upstairs monthly or fortnightly as agreed and that is paid for separately. If you want to save some dollars on the cleaner we can opt for a cleaning schedule as agreed. Having a cleaning service even just once a month helps ensure a minimum cleaning standard is maintained.

I'm in the process of creating a permaculture garden. You'd be welcome to adopt one of the garden beds as your own if you're interested.

I have chickens as pets and no other pets are allowed. They are only fed quality organic food. The property is not suited to:
* having children visit;
* night-shift workers due to noise issues
* loud people;
* having guests stay overnight;
* smokers, drinkers, etc.;
* couples or pair-ups

You would have a fridge to yourself and share a large freezer with one other person. There is plenty of cupboard space in a fully equipped kitchen.

There is no TV antena connected to the house and no TV in common areas, but there is unlimited fast NBN internet included in the rent. You're welcome to bring an internet tv for your own room and use with headphones as needed.

Please ask if you have any questions. I'm willing to wait for the right person. I have many years' experience sharing this house with both long-term guests and airbnb and I know what works and doesn't work in this space. Meeting a potential housemate in person is essential.

House has been unaffected by 2011, 2022 floods and cyclone Alfred.
