I’m looking for a great flatmate in my light-filled two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. With super high ceilings, an open-plan kitchen and living area, and a huge deck, it’s genuinely a lovely place to live.

I work away on site for the majority of the time and am rarely home, so in practice this will feel much more like having your own apartment rather than a traditional share. You’ll more often than not have the place to yourself.

You’ll have the master bedroom with your own en-suite, plus the lock-up garage. The apartment is partially furnished (couch and fully set-up kitchen), but there’s plenty of room for you to bring whatever you need, I’m very open to someone putting their own stamp on the place and taking pride in it.

Shops and transport:
Woolworths approx. 5 minutes away
Close to Chermside shopping centre
Zillmere train station approx. 1km away
With direct trains taking you to the city in about 25 minutes

Bills:
Electricity and water are paid in addition to rent.
Internet isn’t currently connected, but you’re welcome to organise and pay for a service that suits you

This would suit someone respectful, self-sufficient, and keen to settle into a place that really feels like their own home, not just a room. Would also suit couples ($475/week) given you’ll essentially have the place to yourself.
