About the property
Room to rent to a woman to share with two other women in my 3 bedroom house in Downer. You would be sharing with one other woman for a large part of the time as I am away often. We like a quiet tidy house.
The house is light filled and cozy. It is heated with a gas heater which is instant and very warm. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a bed and a built-in wardrobe.
The garden is small and private with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The house is within 5 minutes walking distance to the Dickson and Downer shops, 10 minutes from the tram line into the city and an easy bike ride to the Australian National University.
The room is available from 8 February. No bond is required. Just two weeks rent in advance. Gas and electricity are shared and not included in the rent. I would prefer the room to be rented long-term or for at least 6 months.

About the flatmates
I have a three bedroom house in Downer where I stay when I am in Canberra to visit my family. I would like to rent the other two bedrooms to one or two women. The rooms rented individually are $190 and $180 per week. If one person would like to use both rooms the rent on the second bedroom would be negotiable. I come to Canberra about 10 weeks spread out across the year. When I am staying at the house I like it to be reasonably quiet and tidy and am hoping for housemates who feel the same.
