We enjoy (in no particular order) AFL, picking (and eating) figs from our fig tree, Dancing, Fleetwood Mac, and The OCI. The house is filled with an easy going bunch who also often like to host the odd house BBQ or catch up down at the local pub. The 5th member of the house is Borris, whom is an amazing and extremely loveable dog.
Big house, big backyard, very fast unlimted internet, close to bus routes and local shops. Decent sized kitchen with plenty of spare shelf space. Some storage available aswell. Netflix and stan good to go. 2 rooms available, only after one tenant. Pets can be placed on the lease however would perfer someone without a pet. Small well trained pets will be considered.
One unfurnished room with built in wardrobe in a 3 bedroom share house. This is a neat and recently renovated small house. The location is great, only 350m from a bus stop with routes going to Civic, ANU, and Belconnen, close to a bike path, and across the road from Woolworths supermarket, Asian restaurants, bars and cafes, banks, pharmacies, fast food outlets and a post office. The people you'll be sharing with are quiet but friendly people who don't mind a chat but respect privacy. One is a 28 year old male studying engineering full time, the other is a 28 year old female (attempting) to complete a PhD. You will be sharing a bathroom (separate toilet) with the male. We're looking for someone quiet but friendly and who knows how to share-house (will clean up after themselves and will keep communal areas clean). Unfortunately, due to the lease requirements this is a non-smoking and non-pet friendly house (although the neighbour's cat sometimes sleeps on our patio furniture😊)
The property has an amazing location and is close walking distance to Dickson shops, as well as sports fields and parklands. The house is spacious and comfortable and host a big back yard and relaxing outdoor setting for space to hang out or to enjoy a drink. We are a short walk to bus stations and have easy access to the city as it is only a short drive away, its even walkable.
Great inner-north location close to Watson/Dickson shops, EPIC showgrounds, ACU and natural surrounds with a 10-15min drive to the CBD. Quiet, leafy cul-de-sac makes for plentiful street parking, and high speed, unlimited VDSL is great for streaming and gaming. Very inexpensive for a modest room, would be ideal for a student or someone working and looking to save. Animal friendly environment, the house has two lovely cats and the neighbours have generous egg-laying chickens. Spacious back yard is also great for activities and entertaining. Room is a little wider than the one pictured.
Perfect for Uni Student. Walk to Dickson shops. Walk to Northbourne Ave where a bus runs to Civic every 3 to 5 minutes depending on time of day. Close to 24 hour gym, shops and many work opportunities. Flat is in secure complex. Rent includes electricity, water and internet.
Just a nice room, in a nice place. Cosy second floor apartment with a garden, friendly housemates, close walk to Watson shops, EPIC, parks, bush walks. We have VDSL+2 (fibre) and unlimited internet, low latency for gamers. We keep bills down to a minimum and split 3 ways. Relatively inexpensive and great for a student, or working in the North. It's not bad for anyone really.
The room is spacious and could fit a queen or king bed. The house has gas heating and a reverse cycle airconditioner. There is lots of natural sunlight in all areas of the house. The house is a short walk to Australian Catholic University and a 10min drive from ANU and the city. Dickson shops are very close by and Hackett IGA is walking distance. The street is quiet and it is a friendly neighbourhood. I like to keep the place clean and tidy.
Fairly new ground floor apartment, furnished. Underground parking, access to an indoor 25 m and gym. Close to the Dickson shops. The room has large built in robes, and you'll have the apartment's main bathroom to yourself.
Hello, My home is a few minutes walk from the bus stop and if you have a car I have enough space for parking. Each room has air conditioning and heating. I am constantly making more and more amenities for the guests comfort. One room has a mini fridge, microwave and toaster. You can have complete privacy. The only request I have is to clean up after yourself if you choose to use the kitchen and also leave the bathroom tidy.
Full size house with a spare room for study/storage etc. The fireplace is an absolute delight on a rainy weekend. Large garden is great for entertaining and the place is close to Ainslie, Hackett and Watson shops. Its about 100m to mount ainslie and mount majura reserves for those nature/exercise lovers. Pls ignore the doggo, he is no longer at the property.
Modern, clean and spacious house in a great location and a modern gas kitchen which is great for cooking. Mount Ainslie reserve is just a block away so you can easily enjoy the outdoors. There is a small deck and yard for BBQ's and plenty of room to entertain or just enjoy some down time. Your room is unfurnished with built in wardrobes, its own bathroom with a large bath and separate toilet. Central air-conditioning keeps the house comfortable all year round. All the mod-cons including dishwasher and combo clothes washer/dryer.
The available room is the largest bedroom in the house, with a walk-in wardrobe and is furthest from the staircase to minimise noise from foot-traffic for you (photos available on request). A newly installed gas heater in the lounge room makes the chilly Canberra evenings comfortable! We have a gas stove-top and oven, and a Weber Q out the back on a large deck looking over a yard with two vegetable patches (you're welcome to plant anything you like!). There is a park across the road, the local Woolworths is a 10min walk and we are 500m from a bus stop with buses every 5mins to the city. Dickson has the full spectrum of Asian cuisine at super reasonable prices for the quality you get - we're always up for Friday night takeaway!
Hello Everyone! I am sadly departing my little Ainslie house, and looking to fill my room! It's in an excellent location, close to Aisnlie IGA (the best IGA in Canberra, and Ainslie cellars!!) And also close to Dickson shops (so many restaurants to choose from!) If you like the outdoors, it's close to the reservation and you have your pick of mountain to climb between Mt. Ainslie and Mt. Majura. Very close to a bus stop, and cycling to the city is fairly easy. Bills are split evenly every quarter, and unlimited internet is $20 each, monthly. Please let me know if you want to come and check out the room!
Beautiful 1940's cottage has been updated with French doors, Smeg kitchen appliances, a well established kitchen, a Swedish Asko washing machine (that's good), ducted heating and cooling, close to the city, Parliamentary triangle and Dickson eateries. I own the house (well, me and a bank). I also have Netflix, Stan, Apple TV, which are included in the rent.
My housemates and I call this house the 'Ski Lodge'. We have furnished the living room in such a way that it looks and feels like you can return from a long day on the slopes and kick your feet up with a hot cup of mulled cider. Truth be told, its the rustic fire place that does most of the work in cultivating that vibe. Features that makes the ski lodge awesome: - Close proximity to city (5 minute drive) and ANU (5 minute drive). - 10 minute walk to Dickson shops. - 5 minute walk to Ainslie shops. - Fully furnished house (with the exception of the room available). - Living room (described above - also has a column heater). - Big backyard that requires little maintenance.. We tried to grow some veggies a couple months ago but failed horribly. - Driveway to park your car. Ps. The room is a double bed sized room with a fitted wardrobe

Hey, my name is Erin, my housemate Jack and I are looking for someone to share our home. It is a modern, furnished three bedroom townhouse in Watson. We also live with my friendly, well trained dog (Finnish Lapphund) Miko. The room on offer is a decent size and has a built in wardrobe and newly installed plantation shutters which do a great job in blocking out unwanted sunlight if you are trying to sleep in. The house has ducted air conditioning/heating and fast NBN internet connection. Out the back you'll find a hot tub, built in pizza oven and BBQ making it a great spot to chill out after a long week of work. The property is right near a Mount Majura walking track, close to local shops and great coffee from Knox. The house is furnished except the bedroom. There is a car park available in the garage for an extra $20pw. Alternative parking is avialable off the street in the complex.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a house mate to fill a room in our Dickson sharehouse from the 1st July onwards. Since my roommate has graduated. The house is located a street back from northbourne near MacArthur Av - there's off street parking and regular bus services to uni. Ideally we're looking for someone who's friendly, clean(ish), is easy to get along with and is in their early 20s working or studying. We have no preference for gender.
House - Nice size house that easily fits 4 people but never feels cramped or too big. - Good kitchen and living area with a nice backyard - 3min drive to shops (Dickson and Ainslie) and 5min drive into the city (cycling friendly spot too) - pretty good heating! Room - big room that has nice big windows that overlooks the road and oval - build in cupboards, currently very clean and looking good - NEG, room does face out to the road so cars going by can be annoying, but nothing too bad
Just a few minutes north of the city, the apartment is in a beautiful and leafy area and in a modern complex. It has a sunny balcony overlooking trees and water and there are usually birds in the trees that run around the apartments windows. Room available now. Bills are $30 per week paid with your rent. This includes unlimited internet & electricity. You will have your own super spacious bathroom, though I may use it from time to time.

The room is an a 3 bedroom, two story, inner city duplex, which is a quick walk to Ainslie shops (and all of its delicious cheeses) and about 15 mins from Lonsdale St. The room is quite big, with a built wardrobe and there is a shared bathroom. We have a nice comfy living room (with heating/ cooling), a good kitchen, and a huge garden to chill in when its not below freezing. Young professionals or post graduate students preferred but its not a deal breaker and we're keen to have someone who could move in by early July.
