About the property
Hi there! We are looking for a responsible independent third housemate for our place in Downer, as one of us has successfully bought their first house and therefore is moving on.
Located on a quiet street close to Dickson, Watson and Downer shops, library and swimming pool, we are also located walking distance to bus stops and light rail. We have a large backyard, a garage and space for parking. House is fully furnished (though the room is not). There is a gas top stove, oven and washing machine. The housemate would be sharing a bathroom with one other with a separate toilet. Room also has BIR.
We go thirds in the bills. We've both lived here for some years, making it a stable household. Room is vacant soon, so we are looking to get someone in fairly quickly.
Our current lease agreement means no pets or couples, sorry.

About the flatmates
We are a quiet but friendly non-smoking household (1M and 1F both 40+). We tend to keep to ourselves as we are both busy people. But we're also always open for a chat, or to share the occasional meal. Ideally we would be looking for the same in a housemate. We enjoy having a quiet environment in order to recuperate after a long week, so the ideal housemate wouldn't throw loud parties, game all day, etc.
Broderick works full time as a librarian, and loves cooking, gardening, reading, movies, and getting out of Canberra on weekends. Zoe works part time, studies Japanese and medical administration, enjoys domestic travel and volunteers with a number of local organisations.
