I’m 45 and looking for a friendly, respectful housemate (students or professionals welcome, no couples).

You’ll have your own private bedroom with ensuite. The room includes a king single bed, wardrobe, TV, Chromecast, armchair, and heater. A desk can be provided if needed. Unfurnished, if you would prefer! The room faces west, so it can get quite warm in the afternoons, but I’m happy to run the cooler from the living area if you don’t mind your door being open. The room also faces the main road, so there is some traffic noise. The tram stop is about 100m away and runs to Camberwell, the stadium precinct, and the city.

The apartment is on the 1st floor with lift access. Easy walking distance to Deakin Uni, with buses to Deakin / Chadstone SC in one direction and to Box Hill in the other.

I work from home during the week in the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The home is neat, tidy, and has a very relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy board and computer games, music, TV/movies, weekend trips, and the occasional drive. I’m very happy to have a chat and be social, or equally happy to keep to ourselves and respect personal space. My meals are simple, so it would suit someone happy to do meals separately.

Internet is included in the rent. Electricity and gas (hot water) are shared.

Suitable for someone aged roughly 18–50 who values a calm, easy going home.
