About the property

Our home is a spacious, fully furnished 4-bedroom house with a relaxed and comfortable vibe. Three of the bedrooms share an attached bathroom, and we have an open kitchen with a huge living area that’s perfect for cooking, studying, or just chilling together. The house also features outdoor decking and a large backyard, with a gardener coming once a month to keep everything tidy. A washing machine and dryer are included, and the shared spaces are clean, practical, and easy to live in :)

It’s in a really convenient spot, perfect for both students and working professionals. Deakin University is just a 15–20 minute walk away, and the Box Hill 767 bus stop is only a 3-minute walk from the house. There’s also the 767 Southland bus, which gets you to Chaddy in around 20 minutes, and tram route 75 to the city is about a 7-minute walk. Burwood One is just a 10-minute tram ride away, with 24/7 Coles, Kmart, Aldi, China Bar, and more. For some fresh air and downtime, Lundgren’s Creek is nearby and perfect for scenic walks and a bit of nature therapy.

It’s a quiet, student-friendly home with a great balance of convenience and comfort. Bills aren’t included in the rent and are shared among housemates (electricity, gas, water, and Wi-Fi).

About the flatmates

We’re three friendly housemates in our 20s from different parts of South India, and we love our calm, quiet, and welcoming home.

We were all previously Deakin University students and are now settled into working life. I work as a dental assistant in Burwood, usually around four days a week, while the others are working full-time/casual roles.

At home, we enjoy keeping to ourselves but also love spending time together when we’re free, whether that’s cooking, sharing meals, or having a good chat. We’re happy to welcome a new housemate from any cultural background to our lovely home!

We all value a clean, relaxed environment, and we love to visit our hometowns at least once a year, which helps us stay connected to family and friends :)
