THE LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You’ll have the apartment to yourself most of the time. I currently live in a regional area and only return to Melbourne every 2–3 weeks for work and meetings, usually staying for 2-3 days.
Both bedrooms are fully separated:
- Your room is next to the living room
- My room is at the end of the entrance hallway
- Living room, kitchen and bathroom are accessed via the hallway
In practice, this feels very much like renting a one-bedroom apartment, with excellent privacy.
THE EXPECTATIONS (IMPORTANT)
Because you’ll be enjoying the place largely on your own, I’m looking for someone who will treat the apartment with care and respect, as if it were their own.
- Clean, tidy and considerate
- Quiet lifestyle (no parties or frequent guests)
- Respectful of neighbours and common areas
- Responsible with rent, utilities and general upkeep
This home suits someone who values privacy, calm living, and a comfortable, well-located space.
THE PROPERTY
This is a bright, quiet and well-located 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in a small boutique complex of only 8 apartments. It’s peaceful and well maintained — definitely NOT a party house.
- 5-minute walk to Carnegie Station and Route 67 tram
- A few minutes’ walk to 623 & 626 buses
- Short walk to Koornang Road shopping strip with plenty of cafés and restaurants (you’ll be spoilt for choice!)
- Close to supermarkets, grocers and butchers if you enjoy cooking
- 5-minute drive or easy bus ride to Chadstone Shopping Centre
- Off-street parking available if required
The apartment is furnished, but I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your own furniture if you prefer.

I’m a pretty laid-back guy working full-time as a data analyst. I’m organised, neat and tidy, and I value a calm, well-kept home.
In my free time, I usually hit the gym, catch up with mates, or just chill at home watching TV. I’m friendly and easygoing, but I also respect personal space and quiet time.
I’m looking for a like-minded non-smoker person who is responsible, organised, and cleans up after themselves. Because you’ll have the apartment mostly to yourself, trust and mutual respect are important, and I’d really like someone who treats the place as their own.
If you enjoy a peaceful, non-smoking home, good communication, and a great location, we’ll likely get along well.
