Hello, I'm Maddy!

My lovely (former) housemate is sadly departing, but this means I have a furnished room in Fitzroy North ready for a new housemate!

This place is perfect for someone looking for a private room that is set up and ready to go. It is situated in the inner north close to cafes, public transport, restaurants, bars, and Edinburgh gardens, but on a quieter tree-lined street.

You'll live with one housemate (me) and a friendly cat (Ivy).

About me:
I am 33, work as a nurse and study psychology.

I am tidy in the common areas, and respect my housemate's need for space, privacy, and a peaceful environment.

I enjoy a chat and would be happy to do a meal/drink together occasionally, but I'm not much of a party gal and prefer a housemate with a similar lifestyle.

About the room:
- Spacious - 4x3.1m with high ceilings
- Furnished: queen bed, pillow-top mattress, 3 chests of drawers, clothes rack, optional fan/column heater.
- Natural light from a large street-facing window.
- Bills will be split equally - wifi, water, power, gas.

About the home:
- A semi-detached terrace house in Fitzroy North.
- 2 outdoor areas; rear courtyard and a front porch.
- The living areas (bedroom, lounge room) are spacious and well-lit with high ceilings and large windows.
- This is an old terrace house. Consistent with this, there are cracks in some walls and areas that look a little tired.

About the location:
- Corner house on a leafy street.
- Short walk to Edi Gardens, Brunswick St and North Fitzroy village.
- Public transport: route 96 (Nicholson St) and 11 (Brunswick St) tram lines are <5 min walk.
