We have a large bedroom available in a HUGE 4-bedroom, two-storey house, taking over the room from our housemate who is moving out with their partner.
The room is private and comes with a large wardrobe. It easily fits a queen bed, desk, and TV with plenty of space left. The house is fully furnished, however the room itself is unfurnished.
The room has access to its own private bathroom (not ensuite), located directly across the hall from the bedroom.
Rent & costs:
$870 per month ($204 per week), excluding bills

Gas, water, and electricity are split evenly
Internet: $25 per month

The house is well located, close to local IGA, West Footscray Village, Whitten Oval, cafes, and public transport.
West Footscray train station: approx. 10-minute walk
Bus stop: 2–3 minute walk (direct access to the city or station)
The house also features a fully enclosed backyard with high fences, ideal for furry friends.
Parking is easy, with access to a garage, driveway, and readily available street parking. Parking permits for off-street parking are easy to obtain, and there are always plenty of spaces.

Three women in our mid-20s to early 30s.
Dani, from Colombia, studies and works as a waitress and enjoys swimming
Emma is a photographer and works at the café across the street
Valeria (me), also from Colombia, the youngest in the house
We’re a fun, easy-going household that values a quiet, safe, and cosy home (not into house parties). We share cleaning and household chores and respect each other’s space. While we all have busy lives, we’re always happy to have a chat.
LGBTQ+ friendly household.
PETS:
We are considering fostering animals, initially cats. If you already have a pet, this is something we’re open to discussing, as we love the idea of having furry friends in the house.
ABOUT YOU:
We’re ideally looking for a woman who wants to make this a longer-term home (minimum 12 months). You should be respectful, considerate, easy-going, clean, and tidy, able to pay rent and bills on time, and looking for a balanced, comfortable household to call home.
