About the property

Affordable, spacious, light-filled two-bedroom apartment with generous room sizes and a genuinely comfortable layout. Both bedrooms are well-proportioned and include built-in robes, with new, easy-to-maintain carpet throughout.

The apartment gets beautiful natural light thanks to large windows, and the bathroom is practical and separate, with a shower over bath and a separate toilet. The kitchen is well set up, featuring a gas stove and brand-new oven.

The location is a standout. Surrounded by the Maribyrnong River parklands, with walking trails and green space right nearby, it’s perfect if you enjoy being close to nature while still being well connected. Public transport options are endless, with trams and buses at the doorstep. It’s a quick 5-minute ride to Footscray Station and centre in one direction, Highpoint in the other, plus a direct tram to Moonee Ponds.

An amazing location that offers space, light, convenience, and a calm, livable feel.

About the flatmates

I’m Zac. I'm 34, from Melbourne, have spent my twenties experimenting, partying, travelling and living all over the world.. it's been a ride. I have just gone recently gone back to the 9-5 life, working full time in health insurance, so my weeks are fairly structured and steady. Outside of work, I value a home that feels calm, grounded, and genuinely comfortable to live in. After many years of chaos and adventure, a stable and secure life is what I'm creating for myself and I want to share the place with someone after the same.

I really need and value my alone time to recharge and unwind, and I’m very respectful of other people’s space too. At the same time, I enjoy shared meals, chats, or doing things together with flatmates when the timing and vibe is right. I’m not looking for a house where everyone avoids each other, just one where we can comfortably do our own thing while still feeling supported and safe around each other.

I’m into music, film, travel, and learning new things, and I enjoy thoughtful conversation without needing constant socialising. I’m clean, reliable, emotionally mature, and house-proud. I communicate directly and respectfully if something comes up.

Rent and bills (not included) must be paid on time and will be split equally (we can discuss the details). I’m not looking to chase or follow up on payments like a parent and responsibility shared smoothly without drama for the cost of living is a non negotiable.

I’m not a big partier these days and don’t bring chaos home. Ideally looking to live with someone mature, experienced, and around my age (34) or older, who values a low-drama, respectful, home. I'm always open to sharing ideas about how we can make the space beautiful, interesting and a place we want to come home to.

If you’re after a relaxed, balanced, beautiful, spacious, light filled household with clear communication and mutual respect, we’ll likely be a good fit 🌿
