About the property
We’re looking for someone to fill our second bedroom from the 3 March 2026 for an initial period of at least four months (with an option to extend a further year). We're looking for an easy-going, sociable, and tidy person, who's happy to fit into a fairly quiet but friendly household.
The apartment is located at the end of a quiet street, overlooking the beautiful Maribyrnong River. You will have access to the gym, pool, sauna, secure car park, and secure entry of the apartment complex. You will also be within walking distance of Vic Uni, public transport, shops, markets, cafes, and restaurants. The city is only 10 minutes away by train or bus.
The room we are offering is unfurnished and has heating and built-in robes. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished and has a spacious living area, a modern kitchen, and a large balcony. We have high speed NBN internet (not included in the rent).
We take turns doing the household chores each week and hire a professional cleaner when necessary. The bills are split equally and are not included in the rent.
The rent is $1135 per month and the bills can vary from $100-$150 per month depending on usage.
We are a household that is respectful of each other. We value honesty, open communication, and consideration. We are looking for someone who shares these qualities and can fit in well with us.

About the flatmates
We have a room available in our house, where we are relaxed, friendly, and responsible professionals in our late 30s who enjoy doing our own thing. We like to keep the house clean and tidy, and we occasionally have friends over, but we are not a party house.
One of our housemates is heading back to Japan at the start of March , so we are looking for someone to take his place. You will be sharing the house with Michael, who likes to read, paint, and watch Netflix, and Dhani, who works at a university and loves sports. We are both easy-going and quiet introverts.
