TLDR β
Private room available in a 3 bedroom house, with two young, quiet, working/studying people and a cute friendly cat. Long-term housemate would be desirable.
- Location: Frankston (30 min walk to Frankston station, Karingal hub), on a quiet street.
- Cost: 767 a month (bills not included).
- The Space: 3.7m x 2.7m room, unfurnished.
- The House: 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a garden and shed, driveway and on-street parking available.
About the house:
- 3 bedrooms (one is kept as a music/craft/storage room that you are welcome to use), 1 bathroom with a shower and bath, 1 toilet, a foyer area, kitchen and living room. The garden surrounds the house, I am waiting until it gets a bit cooler to commence some planting. There is a shed at the end of the driveway that is often used for hosting jams and has Albieβs gym equipment if you enjoy working out.
- Living room has a smart tv along with a ps3 and a communal collection of board games and books.
- Kitchen β all fully stocked with utensils and cooking necessities that you are welcome to use, gas cooktop, fridge, pantry and dishwasher. Unfortunately there is no oven.
- House is situated in the Frankston/Karingal area. Public transport is relatively accessible, with Frankston Train Station being a 5-10 minute drive or 15-20 minute bus commute. Close to Heatherhill shops and Karingal hub. 5 minutes from Monash Peninsula Campus.
About you:
- Early to late 20βs, preferably female.
- Regular employment is a must.
- Students are welcome.
- Someone who is clean, respectful, doesnβt mind a chat/occasional shared dinner/ board game but can respect/appreciate alone time.
- LGBTQ+ friendly.
- Recreational but not heavy drinker, outdoor smokers welcome.
- Pet owners will be considered, but no dogs (sorry).

My partner Albie and I are looking for a third person to join our long-term lease (ending in September but we are looking to renew). You will be taking over the lease from our last housemate who vacated for financial reasons.
Zoe (22): I work for a land-rehabilitation company full-time and have just finished up my environmental science degree. I usually start early in the morning, so I have a quiet afternoon/night where you can typically find me doing some cross-stitch, drawing, watching X-files, listening to an audiobook, or working on my multiple sewing projects. I love going for a hike and if you want to learn more about plants and about our environment, Iβm your gal!
Albie (24): Has a casual job in a call centre while at uni for law. Hobbies and interests include cooking (loves cooking for the house), workplace law and making music (guitar and drums for now).
Cricket (1): our little baby girl is a desexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated cat, who is social and playful. She loves laying in her sunbed, playing with her string toy or cuddling up on the couch. She is an exclusively indoor cat. (Another cat may be considered based on personality and desexed/vaccination status).
