It is a new 3BR 3 Bath home in Heidelberg Heights. It’s a quiet residential area with plenty of street parking. You will have access to the common areas of the home i.e., living room, kitchen, laundry and garage for storage. The house is well located to the local shops nearby and public transportation (bus approx. 1min walk and Heidelberg train station 1.3km) as well. It is ideal for anyone working at the Austin hospital as it is only 800m. It's a lovely pocket in Melbourne close enough to the CBD and great to explore the inner Northern suburbs.
We have everything you require in a house (iron, washing machine, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc).
You will have allocated space in the fridge and pantry. Linen and towels can be supplied. All a housemate needs to supply is their own consumables (toiletries, toilet paper, laundry powder, groceries, and containers for storing food etc). The house is very tidy and clean with no clutter on benches/floor or tables. Cleaning wise it’s very easy for housemates, all that is expected of you to do is clean up completely after yourselves in the kitchen or shared areas, leaving it in the same state it was before you used it (For example; no dirty dishes/containers to be left in the sink, etc). I do all the major cleaning in the house each week usually on a Saturday (vacuuming, mopping, etc) apart from your bedroom (which I am happy to do if you like me to for $25.00 pw). Andrew and I also do all the yard work (mowing etc).
Length of stay is flexible. The Walk in wardrobe comes with a dresser and plenty of hanging space. Your ensuite also has a bath :) Visitors staying overnight are welcome (within reason e.g not shacking up for long periods of time) and just give us a heads up. How you keep your room is up to you as long as you aren't damaging the furniture or the room itself.

About the flatmates
My name is Mina and I am 35years old. I am an Audiologist. Andrew is my husband, he is 36 years old. He is a chef. We both work full time. We own the house and are looking to rent the room, if the right person/couple comes along. We also have another flatmate in her mid 30s who works at the Austin hospital and is hardly ever at home.
Andrew and I are very laid back and reasonably quiet people. We don’t have visitors coming over constantly and appreciate the same from a housemate. However, if you have friends or family visiting you and would like to stay, we will be open to discussing this. We enjoy a few beverages on the weekend; these are quiet drinks in the living area or our room. Occasionally we may have a few people around for drinks, which we will make housemates aware of beforehand. We are definitely not party animals and do not hold regular drinking sessions. We are looking for a housemate in the same mind frame. No parties are to be held by housemates. However, you are more than welcome to have people over for quieter drinks. However in saying that if we were having a few people over for drinks we will certainly let you know and you would be more than welcome to join.
The house is large so you definitely have your own space, peace and quiet. We do enjoy talking and getting to know people but also appreciate being given our own space as well. As we both work during the week, when Andrew and I do have some free time we appreciate to just have our own time, and vice versa to our housemates, we won't be constantly hanging around you or annoying you.
What we are looking for in a housemate is someone that is friendly, clean, respects our belongings, our house and is social but also gives us our space. We are looking for someone honest and trustworthy (pays rent on time, locks up the house, and is generally honest).
We have a 6 year old, female, medium sized chocolate lab whose name is Leia. She is house trained and is an inside dog. She is a well mannered dog. She is extremely friendly and loves to cuddle if you let her.
