The house is full of light, very clean with central heating to all rooms , air con in family room and also ceiling fans in all rooms. This is a beautiful, spacious and inviting home. Wake up to warm sunshine on a lazy Sunday, stroll along the river or entertain guests in the massive living areas downstairs! The house is beautiful and big, with high ceilings, a large lounge, kitchen, 15m long hallway(!), and stupidly huge bathroom. We have two veggie patches and a big backyard, perfect for getting your midweek nature fix. The house is quirky, but that's why we love her. Nestled in the leafy surrounds of Westgarth Village, you won't find a more chill neighbourhood with a real sense of community. Our house is a 3 minute walk to Westgarth Station (it’s at the end of our street), 5min walk to High St, Terre Madre, Palace cinemas e.g all the good stuff.

While it is an older house, it does have a lot of character and we find it very homely. It is 5 minutes walk from bus stops into the city and towards south-eastern suburbs (302, 304 and 624) and also 5 -10 minutes walk from trams 109 and 48. It's in the ideal spot in Melbourne, not too far from the city, (walkable if you have an hr and half) but also not too crowded. We are in between Lygon and Sydney road, and a few blocks north of Albion. 5 mins walk to very good felafel. Big kitchen, good for cooking in, well comfortably two can cook at any one time. Two bathrooms which we have found very handy. One doubles into our laundry. Top load washing machine has probably seen better days, but the bonus rocket ship sounds adds to the charm. House has split system air con/ heating. Room cute but cosy, with a built in cupboard for clothes and space enough for a king bed and a little more.
