This is a huge old house that is a perfect home.
Quiet street, big backyard, massive living area, updated fittings (not super modern, but it all works perfectly), ducted heating and cooling in main area and fully furnished communal areas.
We’re not close to any train stations, but you can easily get to Southland via bus to get to the shops and train there. Depending on where you need to travel, if you don’t have a car. It might not be ideal. If you do, we’re not in a busy area and there’s plenty of street parking. Super close to Nepean Hwy and Dande Bypass. Pretty easy to get around without getting stuck in traffic.
We have a weekly cleaning roster so we all contribute to keeping the place tidy. Plus promising to always keeping the kitchen clear.
We’re a mix of people who all respect each other’s way of living, we try to be eco friendly and sustainable. Moving to be plastic free. Not everyone is vegan, but we have separate pots/pans etc. that are not used for meat. This is a microwave free kitchen.
Generally have Friday night housemate night, if we can be bothered, where we cook up a meal and watch a movie.
It’s a mix of everyone doing their own thing and hanging out.
If you’re open minded, a critical thinker and non judgemental, you’ll fit in here. If you’re a rad person, want to chill and be friends. That’s our vibe. We love a chat about random facts, learning from each other’s experiencing, listening to stories. All while being totally respectful if someone comes home and they want to do their own thing.
Saving the best for last. Other housemates include 1 cat and 2 rabbits. They’re cute and adorable. The rabbits have their own enclosure and don’t make any mess or smell. You won’t even notice them. The cat is 11 years old and sleeps A LOT. He takes time adjusting to change as he is a grumpy old man and set in his ways. He will be fine with someone new after a few months. So please bear with him while warms up. *disclaimer, if you have allergies you've been warned, if you love animals, this is the place for you. Sorry we can’t have any more pets.
Prefer someone who wants to stay, but are open to short stays
