It’s a sweet Victorian home with a cosy living area, a bright kitchen opening onto a backyard and deck, and classic period features throughout. The house is close to High St, cafés, transport and parks. The home is unfurnished right now and we’ll make it feel lovely over time.
We’d love to live with someone who communicates openly and directly, and who genuinely prioritises cleanliness and tidiness. Someone who naturally takes care of shared spaces, cleans up after themselves, and cares about the energy of the home.
We enjoy having friends over, sharing meals, and occasionally having a late-night dance (w mindfulness of housemates). We also value living with people who are socially conscious, politically aware, and considerate of the world and people around them. Ideally we’re looking for someone we can be friends with, not just co-exist. Someone with stable income is preferred.

We’re Emer (26, she/her) and Sam (27, he/him) - partners.
We’re taking over a lease from a friend on a beautiful Victorian home in Northcote and looking for a third housemate to join us.
We’ve both recently moved to Naarm — I’ve lived here before, and Emer is settling in for the first time. We both grew up in WA but have lived in different places across Australia and overseas, including this year in Berlin together. Work-wise we’re currently in a transition phase: I’m trained in bodywork/remedial massage with a background in public policy and am doing some casual massage + hospo while searching for longer-term work. Emer has just finished her Law & Behavioural Science degree and is currently applying for legal roles.
We live fairly active, social lives (movement, dance, yoga, saunas, nature, cooking, spending time with friends), but we also really value downtime at home. A calm, grounded space with routine, rest and ofc some fun is important to us.
