Peaceful, Light-Filled Home in Merewether | 25+ Housemate Wanted
We’re looking for a like-minded housemate to join our calm, welcoming three-bedroom home in Merewether, tucked away at the back end of the suburb and close to Adamstown.
The house is currently shared by two women in their late 20s / early 30s, plus one very cute 8kg spoodle.
The House
Our home has a huge backyard, pool, lock-up shed, and plenty of free on-street parking.
The room for rent is medium to large and comes with an extra-large built-in wardrobe with loads of shelving and hanging space. It comfortably fits a desk, queen or king bed, and bedside tables.
The rest of the house:
• One internal bathroom (shower, toilet, vanity)
• One additional external toilet in the backyard
• A shared kitchen, dining space and living room with TV
The Vibe
This house is very much our home. We’re genuinely friends who enjoy spending time together, while still respecting each other’s space.
We live independent but connected lives. We’ll always say hello when someone gets home and chat while cooking dinner, but we’re not in each other’s pockets. It’s a relaxed, easy balance.
We’re proud of keeping the house clean, tidy and peaceful, and we’re looking for someone who values the same kind of environment.
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to find a 25+ housemate who is mature, considerate, and happy to contribute to a calm, respectful home. Someone who treats the place as their home, not just a room to rent.
We are unable to take on anymore pets.
The Important Stuff
• Rent: $265 per week (paid monthly, excludes utilities)
• Internet: $26 per month
• Location: Merewether, close to Adamstown — 5 minutes’ drive to the beach and The Junction
• Available: 1 February 2026 (move-in or rent to commence from this date)
