About the property
***THIS IS A SUBLET from 09 February to 28 February 2026 while our new housemate arrives in Australia.
***We won’t be able to rent for longer and would prefer to rent the whole period rather than one week or a few days. 😇
This is a charming old house - 15min walk to south beach - 15min walk to the center of freo.
Cosy and welcoming garden. There is a big table and nice atmosphere to hang out outside. There is an alley if you need to park your car and you can also use the front street.
- From 9 to 21 you will move in into one of the room into the house - fully furnished with queen bed, big wardrobes desk to work.
- From 21 to 28 you will have your own “granny flat” in the garden with your private bathroom + big Tv with most of the streaming platforms + sort of a balcony terrace in front of your door. Very intimate, you won’t hear anything from the house and vice versa. Possibility to leave our bikes if you want to use it.
- rent is $350 per week ( all bills included) + bond that covers the whole stay (3 weeks) - rent increase for couples/2 people
The neighbors are very friendly (most of them are families and old people). They like a very chill and quiet atmosphere in the street. This is a relaxing house where everyone appreciate going on with their lives. You need to be willing to clean after yourself and just have basic sens in terms of cleaning initiatives that comes with living in a share house. If you want to enjoy freo, that’s the perfect place.

About the flatmates
We are six backpackers living in this charming old house. Between 26 to 32 years old. 2 Brits, 3 French, 1 Spanish.
I am 32 and my boyfriend 30, we both work FiFO and when we are at home we like to enjoy Fremantle, the cafes, restaurants and catching up with our friends.
We all work a lot, so when at home the atmosphere is chill and relax. Everyone is very clean and the big rule between us is to clean after ourselves. Most of us work FiFO but two of us work in the city as a butcher and a bartender. We all have our own life but we also like to share a beer or a meal from time to time. We are all sporty and outdoorsy. We are backpackers and are genuinely interested about travels and people :).
Communication is key and as much as we would like to sublet our room we will respect our housemates wishes and will look for someone that shares the same values as us. = respectful, clean and open minded.
