Hello wonderful Tassies!

Seeking a room to rent in Hobart from around May 8th, ideally furnished and as close to the CBD as possible (20-40min walking distance would be amazing, if that's possible). Would love to live around North Hobart but super flexible so long as central and close to public transport, as I won't have a car. Under $350pw would be amazing and with an ensuite or own bathroom would be the absolute dream.

Ideally 3-6months stay initially and happy to look at extending if we get along and the area suits. Short or long term considered as no plans to leave Hobart in the near future as I want to truly immerse myself in the incredible arts and agriculture communities your city has to offer.

I am an open minded, warm hearted, honest, reliable, hard working, animal loving 35yr old West Australian woman. Having travelled and lived abroad most of my 20's (more than happy to regale you with my many travel stories!), my traveler heart is looking again for a sea change and Hobart seems like the perfect fit, with my fondness for the Arts, cool weather and stunning natural landscapes!

I am a queer woman so would need somewhere LGBTQIA+ safe please and ideally I prefer to live with other women and/or other queer people!

I have a dual career in Events and the Arts as well as Medical Research Admin and Government project support. I'll be working in a causal role for Dark Mofo (a huge bucket list item for me!) and have a part-time remote, research admin job that I'll be bringing over with me too, so very capable of paying rent and bills on time and have bond ready to go. I have excellent rental references and have been in the same place in Perth, on the lease for the past 5.5 yrs.

I have volunteered at a few festivals and burns as a Ranger and am keen to do the same at Aurora at the end of the year too.

I've lived in shared houses since my teens both here and overseas, I'm very easy going and open minded, i'm friendly, quite tidy, responsible and have a good sense of humour.

Please feel free to reach out if you have a room that may suit or any questions about me or my lifestyle, Im not so much a 'party person' but I am a social creature, I love going out and meeting new people and experiencing new things, so I'll be out often and highly likely to pick up more working hours / another part-time job, so I'll be keeping very busy and hardly home!
Im not so much a home body anyhow, (like to keep home peaceful) but I'd love to live with friendly people who might be up for a chat, dinner, boardgame or glass of wine at least every now and then!
