I work full-time, semi professional athlete, travel most weekends, early to bed & I'm an early riser!
I don't mind a short stay 3 months is fine. Or happy to stay longer if I find the right place/ people.
Regarding personal relationships. I think personal affairs stay away from place of residence. I don't come with any baggage, no ex wife, no children, my personal life is private & I don't let it interfere with my living arrangements. I think that needs to be clear from the get go. I'm renovating a house & it will take a minimum 9-12m. So I'm testing the waters with this, or I will take up a lease on realestate.com.au.
