Yuan-yu

Hi!! My name is Yuan-yu, and I’m hoping to become your new favourite housemate. I’m looking for a room in a sunny home with lovely housemates.

I’m a 29-year-old lawyer working standard weekday hours (10–6). I’m almost always in the office during the week.

I’ve been living with housemates since I was 16, so I like to think I’m quite experienced when it comes to being a considerate housemate. I clean up after myself, respect shared spaces, and am mindful of other people’s routines.

I drink socially but don’t smoke. I enjoy a chat and the occasional shared meal, but I’m also quite independent and respectful of personal space.

I read a bit (10 books so far this year) and love going out for coffee or meals with friends. I’m also an avid bushwalker; every now and then I’ll head off early for a hike and come back a day or two later with unwashed hair. Otherwise, my routine is fairly steady.

I do stay up late occasionally, but I’m very quiet and mindful of noise. I eat meat but am respectful of different dietary preferences. I also enjoy cooking from time to time and would be happy to share.
