Hi there,
My partner and I are currently looking for a share house, duplex or granny flat preferably with some yard space or similar rental to call our own and are ready to move in as soon as possible. We are really keen to move out of our current share house and into a long-term home (12+ months) that we can properly look after. I work as a support worker with stable, consistent income, and my partner is a mature-aged apprentice carpenter with full-time work and extra side projects. We can comfortably afford up to $600 per week and have a solid rental history with great references and proof of income ready to go. We take a lot of pride in our home and lead a very quiet, active lifestyle.

Since my partner is a chippy, he is more than happy to help out with bits and pieces around the house to keep it in top shape. We’re also both very happy to stay on top of the yard work, including mowing and whipper snipping we actually find it pretty satisfying! Plus, having a carpenter and a support worker as tenants is a bit of a win-win; if the house has a breakdown, he can fix it, and if the neighbors have a breakdown, I’ve got them covered. We do have three very well-behaved pets. Our one-year-old Border Collie is super friendly, cuddly, and highly trained. She spends most of her time either running with me or relaxing in the yard. We also have two lazy indoor cats who mostly just spend their days soaking up the sun on their cat trees or lounging in the grass. They are fully litter trained, never wander past the fence line, and are very gentle on the property. We are quite desperate to find the right spot and will treat your property with total respect.
