I'm a 40 year old straight male looking for a large room to call my own. I'm open minded, quiet, clean, and keep to myself mostly but do enjoy socialising in small doses. I've been studying personal development, psychology and philosophy in my spare time and would describe myself as "zen". I work in the ICT field on a contract by contract basis, currently employed in a short term full time contract. I'm a part time father, taking care of my 6 year old daughter every second weekend. The ideal setup I've enjoyed last year has fallen through due to end of lease and time pressures. I'm prepared to be flexible with my usual arrangements if required.
Chilled and grounded guy, very tidy and independent, looking for likeminded housemates to share a house. Im a Landscaper by trade and study Animal Behaviour (K9). I also come with a beautiful 3yr German Rottweiler, fully command trained, clean and socialised. She is an outside or inside dog, loves people and other dogs.
I am working part time while saving money to move overseas. Uni graduate. I am a socialable, clean and friendly person who loves a chat. I don't spend a lot of time at home due to work and friends. Bit of a nerd.
I am a student at QUT studying sports and exercise science. I am passionate about being active and am a cheerleader at QUT and a coach at a club in Acacia ridge. I love helping people and always go out of my way to do the right thing. I like to have fun and have a few drinks to wind down on nights that I'm not studying. I'm looking for a place to feel like home that is within walking distance to a train station as I do not have a car. I like privacy and am a very clean and quiet person and am impossible not to get along with. Hopefully I'll be able to find the perfect place for me on here and I look forward to speaking to some of you
I enjoy living with people but still want to be independent. As I have lived with house mates before, I know the basic etiquette to make a house comfortable to live in for people around me. I enjoy baking and cooking so occasionally, I will share my portions with you if we live together.
Hey I'm Jesse! Been living in student accommodation here in Upper Mt Gravatt for the last few years now.. I originally moved down here when I was 18 from an old country town called Maryborough.. If you know of Maryborough you'll understand why I left hahaha🤪 I studied Audio Engineering & Sound Production for 2 years when I first moved down here and i'm currently working 2 jobs at Garden City. I'd consider myself a pretty chill dude, easy to get along with I treat people with respect, im clean and tidy, I like a good chat, love a laugh. I'm currently saving to go travelling so I dont find myself doing too much that involves too much mullah at the moment😌 I try to stay active and healthy dont mind going to the gym, enjoy some rockclimbing, just started muay thai, sometimes i pretend ima masterchef👨🍳dont mind a good book before bed🤓 at times you'll find me kickin' back with a few beers watching the Footy on a Friday night, also love me a good doco and a bitta PS4! Ideally i'm looking for a nice relaxed modern 3-4 bedroom place where everybody has their own space, an ensuite with a decent sized room would be nice as I have a queen size bed n some furniture already. Also totally open to teaming up to get a place with any others that may be interested, hit me up! Anyway thats enough rambling on about myself! I look forward to talking to some people. Peace✌❤😄
I’m a full time Beauty Therapist working in a day spa. I have 1 small inside hairless dog. Im from Brisbane, grew up on the Gold Coast. I don’t drink/smoke/take drugs. I’m vegan. I’m pretty home bound so I don’t go out late much, just go to the occasional gig now and then. But in general I like to keep to myself. I work 3/4 weekends a month.
*I will only be in Brisbane from 24 January onwards* I am a 31 year old male looking for a private room in an apartment or house with 1 or 2 other flatmates around my age category, for under $200 a week, ideally with all bills included. I am looking for anywhere from Brisbane CBD to the south eastern suburbs, not super fussed about the location as such but would really like it to be walking distance to a bus stop that has a direct bus to Griffith University. I will be starting my Masters in Secondary Teaching there so I will be a full time student and probably spend most of my time on campus. I do require a furnished room, at least with a bed and cupboards, because I will be coming from Perth and I do not have very much with me. I have allocated a six month request but of course, if we get along well, I'll gladly extend it, as I will be a student and would rather not have to focus on moving around :p Also, I do have a car so I would like some sort of parking please. These are some of the things I bring to the table : - I come from Perth, so you won't have to deal with any visa issues that may cause me to suddenly leave - I come from a family of sisters, so I play well with all genders - I enjoy rum and sake - I enjoy watching and playing tennis and soccer and I hope to continue keeping myself active in Brisbane by doing this regularly - I cook for myself quite a bit so I would like a place with easy kitchen access. I'm not much of a recipe person but I like exploring flavours when I cook, usually for my meals for a few days. It's okay if you don't cook, I'm happy to make a dish for you too. I don't bake though, well, not yet anyway. - I love music but I don't really do enough of it. I will have my keyboard with me which will be kept in the room I am renting. I understand that after a long work day you want to come home to some quiet so I'll restrict playing it to when you are away but I do hope to get back into it. - I am not a fan of gardening so if there is any patch of lawn that requires some looking after, I'm probably not going to want it - I keep to myself a lot but please don't mistake it for being anti-social - I have visited Brisbane multiple times but as a whole, it is still a new city to me, so someone who is relatively familiar with the city would be great, to help me to learn and love this city that I will potentially call home - I wear nail polish sometimes, so that must not be an issue Feel free to question me on anything else that you need clarification on!
Apprentice at Toll (Karawatha). Chill bloke easy to get along with, clean organised. Play sport and go to gym. I’m up before 5 am on weekdays and stay at work till 6
I'm a General Purpose I.T. Guy (self-taught) and occasional student on Disability. I've lived in a series of sharehouses over the last decade, mostly with people I personally knew, and am currently looking for a new (hopefully clean and peaceful) environment. I can be sociable, or I can keep busy with my own hobbies and projects and not be imposing. I do my best to take care of my living space, and I expect the same from my (potential) housemates.
I am a student at QUT currently looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom house to move into . I am easy going. I am looking to live closer to the city because of work and uni 😊. I am looking for someone to share a 3 bedroom place with end of June into July. Willing to get a 6 month to a years lease.
Hi, I'm Georgia. I'm 23 and I study full time at Griffith. I work part time at a Bookshop in tee city. I'm looking for a place to live where I can be social, but also have space to study. I'm in the last 18 months of my degree, so I'll be studying pretty hard and heading out on placement a few times. I tend to be a bit of a stress head, as there's a lot on my plate right now, so I would like to live with people who can be accommodating of that, and can be understanding of that anxiety. I like to go camping and hiking, I like to swim, love the beach, and I just got into yoga. I also don't mind curling up to watch a movie or read a book, and I don't mind having a drink or two on the weekend.
Hey guys, I’m a 27 year old female with a small Maltese/shitzu inside more like a human dog. I work full time and also go latin dancing several times a week. I enjoy going to the beach, reading and I’m a talker. Not a massive drinker, but don’t mind having a beer or a sneaky vodka. I enjoy cooking and am clean and relatively tidy. I consider myself to be a bubbly, confident individual. Don’t mind whether I live with males or females, as long as we get along I’ll be happy. Am willing to do a meet and greet before deciding on anything. Not sure how long I plan to rent a room, as depends on how well we get along.
I am.an easy going person. I work 5 days a work so very busy. I have 2 kids that live with my ex. They visit every once in a while. I am also studying part BSc Environment and Sustainability. I was born in Zimbabwe but have been living here for 11yrs.
I'm looking to move to Brisbane from Canberra for an initial 6 months, possibly longer, to spend some quality time with my daughter and grand-daughter. Apart from that, I plan to spend time recuperating as my health is not good, and would therefore prefer a peaceful environment. I mostly like to keep to myself, but also enjoy good, meaningful conversation. I also enjoy spending time in nature, reading, crochet, meditation, and watching movies.
Hi! I am looking for a place for myself to move to next month. My budget is a little tight at the moment, so I can only afford to pay $120 a week. I am a very friendly and peaceful tenant with minimum needs. I am looking for a place near the Mount Gravatt campus of Griffith University. Thanks!
