Hi there,

I'm Lia. I'm originally from Scotland but I've lived in QLD for about 13 years now. My friends would describe me as creative, independent and easy-going. In my free time I like to hike and go outdoors, spend time in the kitchen, and play board games and D&D (little bit of a nerd!).

I'm studying a Bachelor of Journalism/Arts at UQ (in my fourth year), and I work part time in retail, so I'm on a fairly normal student timetable. I'll normally be in bed by 10 and up by 7.

I'm looking for a private room, in a place around UQ St Lucia campus. I've been on an exchange in Japan this last semester, so I'm looking for a place to move in when I return in February. I would prefer to share with other students/young people. My budget is up to $300/week.

I'm a pretty social person, but I do also need my alone time as well. I'm totally open to my roommates having parties/inviting friends around, but I do like to be warned in advance. I am also happy to spend time with my roommates, movie nights/shared meals/etc.

I like to keep shared living spaces clean. I put away my things after using them, and wash my dishes after cooking, etc. and I am looking for housemates who would do the same. I'm open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.

I'm very laid-back, and I don't have too many preferences/deal breakers as far as roommates go, I am just looking for friendly people who will communicate with me about any potential problems, etc.
