Hey I'm Lauren, I'm 25 years old and I am just about to start studying occupational therapy at ACU. I currently work part time as an admin clerk and in my spare time I enjoy doing things outdoors, exercising, going to the beach, hanging out with friends and are always up for some social drinks. I am clean and tidy, always pay bills on time and respect peoples privacy and space. With this said, I want to live in a house that feels like a home where people don't act like strangers and hibernate in their rooms all day.
**** PENDING AGREEMENT **** G’day, My name is Emma and what makes me great to live with is that I’m very considerate of other people, love my own space and company, am extremely easygoing, don’t make a mess that I don’t also promptly clean up (the former happens very infrequently) and am so busy working in my full time job and part time business along with my hectic social life and busy family life I don’t have time to scratch myself. I am going overseas for two months at the end of August which is only reason that six months works for me as a living arrangement. In case you were wondering I love to cook (& of course eat), am a massive movie buff and love a quiet night in occasionally however my loved ones are hugely important to me and so I spend a lot of time seeing them. My move in date is the 1st of March as my lease expires then. I must have off street parking, would prefer my own bathroom and living with one other person is my preference in an apartment of some sort. My ideal housemate I would be a non-smoker who wishes to do everything above board as I do with the RTA that genuinely treats me with the same respect that I will always endeavour to treat them with. Please feel free to get in touch via either this website or my mobile as soon as you can as I would like something sorted out this week if possible? I look forward to meeting you and seeing your lovely home. Have a great day. Emma 😃
Heya, I'm Natalie. I'm a 23 year old recent law grad working full-time in a firm in the city. I'm friendly and easy going - always happy for a chat over a drink, but I do like time to myself so will definitely respect other people's time and space. I am looking for a modern place near the city (preferably near a train line). Feel free to message me if you think we would be a good fit or if you have any questions :)
I bring more than ten years of experience in sharing homes with other people - including babies and kids. I would describe myself as a calm & respectful yet open minded and communicative person with a need for my own time and space. Home to me means coziness, cooking (and sharing) vegan meals, tidiness and an open-minded atmosphere.
Hi all! I'm Eden, a 20y/o nursing student at UQ. I've lived in sharehouses for two years now and have never been late with rent or bills. I'm always keen to help out around the place and like to keep things tidy. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, however also appreciate some time to chill out. I get along with pretty much everyone and am very easy-going and relaxed, but also well-organised and respectful. I love a good night out but like to keep pretty balanced throughout the week. Am a huge fan of indoor plants and would love to live in a vibey home with like-minded people. Hit me up if you reckon I'd be a good addition to your house, or if you want to know anything else about me!
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Professional quiet living mature woman working in Brisbane Monday to Thursday weekly, home is Tweed Heads Friday-Sunday. Sunny, happy nature not interested in mid week parties, just looking for an after work sanctuary and my own room and bathroom. Work and catching up with family and friends for a quiet restaurant meal some evenings is my focus while in town.
I currently work at UQ and Indooroopilly shopping centre both part time, I enjoy getting out and about during my days off preferably to the beach or out for a hike. I'm looking for a roommate or two that enjoy dinners and tv nights together to give the place a really homly vibe but I am also respectful of quiet time to ourselves. My current lease end around mid-May but I can be flexible with this for the right people/location. I have some living room and kitchen furniture currently but am happy to invest in whatever is still required.
I’m brazilian and will be studying a master at UQ for 2 years. Back home I graduated as an industrial engineer and worked for about 2 years after grad. Then I decided to get myself over here. I’ve lived in Australia in 2010 as a rotary exchange student and loved it. Indeed, here I am again. I did year 11 in Batlow, NSW. I like to play tennis, love road-trips and motorbikes and plan to run my first half-marathon this year. On top of that I'm going to be working and studying, so things should be busy! When I can, I love having a beer and going out. I'm very easy to deal with... I've lived in different sharehouses and always got along pretty well. This time I'm looking for something a little more orderly to make the day-to-day easier. At the same time with a nice good mood to do things together sometimes. Hope to hear from you, cheers!
Hi! I am looking for a home in Brisbane to move into as soon as possible as I begin my dual degree of psychology and nutrition at UQ. Looking for a place that feels homey with housemates I'd call a friend. Let me know if you match the features I'm after 😊: • Walking, biking or under 30min public transport distance to UQ in St Lucia • With a large size room with lots of natural light, at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, a few wardrobes and drawers. • With outdoor area/s like a yard, deck or spot that gets a decent amount of direct sun throughout the day. • Not lots of road noise • Decently spacious kitchen (to make you cake on your birthday 😉) About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own meals which are wholefood plant-based- however I'm really not fussed on what anyone else eats. I love cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. I'm passionate about eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
I work full time in pharmacy. I play sport but am having a little break so trying to go the gym when I can. I am fairly clean and tidy up after myself. I don’t smoke and I am not a party person. I am not a drinker but don’t mind having an odd glass of wine. I like to be sociable but I also like to have time to myself. I am looking to move into somewhere with either 1 or 2 other people. I am allergic to cats so ideally I don’t want to be renting where there are cats. I am flexible with move in date. I could extend length of stay but for now just 6 months to see where I will be then.
Hi there! My name is Claire. I'm 28 and work full-time at the casino. I'm looking for a bright, clean, and inviting space to call home! I’m hoping to find a place within a 30 minute walk to the city. Move in date late March. Outside of work I like to stay active with surfboat rowing and trail running (or anything else outdoors). I am also completing a post-grad degree. As a housemate, I am tidy, friendly, responsible, and respectful of other people's space and property. I'm outgoing and love to socialise, but also value my alone time. Certainly not opposed to the occasional housemate dinner or Netflix binge with some wine and cheese.
Dutchie goes Brisbane! I am 27, live in Amsterdam and I am super happy to be able to do part of my PhD at UQ and escape the wet and cold European winter. I will be staying from March-May. Will be working full-time, but up for fun things when I'm free. I am an easy going, chilled, happy soul that likes to have a laugh (I've noticed that the Dutch and Australian have similar humor). I enjoy being outdoors, exploring new places, but also love hanging out on the couch binge watching Netflix. I exercise, but my even bigger hobbies are wine and food. Would love to live with some like-minded people to make my Aussie adventure even better!
So a bit about me ... I keep busy working upwards of 20 hours a week and study marketing full time at QUT. I’m hoping to find a cute place close to uni! I’m social and am preferably looking for a place with more of a homey vibe and to be friends with the people I live with but ultimately can keep to myself if necessary. I’m also in need of either on street or off street parking! In my spare time I’m usually spending time with friends or going to gigs and bars. I’m reliable, clean, outgoing and respectful! Would be happy to supply recent payslips or anything else to prove my income. Looking forward to finding a gorgeous place! 🌈
Hello! My name is Toyo. I'm a Japanese international student studying at QUT. I am 35 years old, but most of my friends tell me 'you look around 26-27 years old! I'm currently looking for a sharehouse with good access to QUT and Southbank, which costs around 160 - 165 per week. This is because I go to the uni but also will join rehearsals of a choir (Brisbane chorale) at the south bank every Wednesday. Brief introduction: I am from one of the suburbs (Hino-shi) in Tokyo. Although I had worked as a system engineer at a Japanese company (Fujifilm) for 5 years in Japan, to develop business and language skills, I study abroad at UQ in Australia from 2014 to 2015. To reach the next goal in my career, I have just come back to Brisbane this year and started my PhD program (advertising) at QUT. My hobby is singing, especially classical singing (e.g., opera arias, Italian cultural songs). I was a choir member of Brisbane Chorale between 2014 and 2015, and I will join the choir later on. :) . I also like some pops songs like Billy Joel, Eagles, Elton John etc. I believe that I am responsible and not like a typical shy Japanese guy. I like to be socialised with people (but not too much haha) Thank you for reading this text by the end. ;) Looking forward to receiving your message. Best regards, Toyo
I believe i can make a great addition to the house; I am quiet, tidy and clean up after myself. I am always happy to help and am rarely home due to work as an Interior designer/architect in the Brisbane city. Most weekends is spent out of the house going to the beach or generally hanging with friends. I am looking for a house where i can feel comfortable and get along with everyone. I love a good wine and a chat, i also have netflix and stan which im happy to share with the household. I also have an adorable 6month old cockerspaniel who will love you endlessly, she will dry up any tears you might have with her cuddles and will love you to death, shes well behaved and doesnt bark, id ideally like to be able to find a property to have her as shes my little baby
Hey my name is Hannah I'm 24 friendly, tidy and looking for a sharehouse in central Brisbane. I'm currently living in Perth WA but relocating to Brisbane mid Feb 2019 to study full time at QUT. I have been living with my current housemate for the last 18 months and she can vouch for me as an easy to live with person who always pays rent ontime. Feel free to flick me a message if you need any more info!
