Hey! Olly is here.
I am looking for a spacious bedroom with a private bathroom in a house or a unit to share with 1 female. Other housing arrangements can work too if my space has enough privacy. I would love to stay in the southern Gold Coast, as I have been in Palm Beach for 2 years and have my fav sports and cafes here. Currumbin and Tallebudgera Valley would be possible options, too, for I love being close to nature and enjoy my early morning walks, fitness and routines.
I work full time in interior design & renovations industry. I talk a lot during the day and tend to be in my quieter mood at home. My interest vary from yoga, pilates and public speaking to mindful movement, badminton, skiing, hiking, all sorts of dance, symphony orchestra concerts and live music in general. Healthy eating is what describes my diet best. I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan, though.
Being generally sensitive to smells, I don't smoke neither cigarettes, nor anything mind altering. I happened to be in a fire as a kid and maybe for that reason I can hardly tolerate burning smells.
Not a fan of alcohol but and may enjoy a glass of red occasionally. It's essential for me to share housing with people we are aligned with in terms of these things. Age gaps are easy to deal with, but mindset and tastes gaps are difficult to bridge.
I am single at the moment (no kids, no pets) and, thus, I seek space to rent for myself. I’ll prefer to share with a like minded female.
It should be fun and comfortable to share housing with me. I have experience of living by myself as well as sharing housings - with family, my ex-husband, flatmates and friends. I am quite well-travelled (about 35 countries visited), so there are lot’s of travel stories under my belt. What else makes me easy to share with? I love coming into a clean and tidy space and I maintain it generally clean and tidy. I'm considerate of my own and other peoples' needs and easy to negotiate with.
It is essential for me to have air in my space - literally and metaphorically. I love high ceilings and big windows, light walls, not cluttered. Bali style, cozy minimalism or Japandi style features, light art objects are what I'm fond of. I’ve been working in interior design field for a long while and it has impacted my taste. Private bathroom and comfortable bed are important.
My budget is between 300-400$ (bills included) depending on the size and quality of a place and it’s distance from the ocean.
I love learning languages. I am fluent in English, Russian and Italian. Can understand a bit of German, Spanish and Polish.
Happy to provide references from previous hosts and flatmates upon request.
