Hi all, I'm Agne (she/her), moving to Melbourne to take up a postdoctoral researcher position at Swinburne University. I am originally from Lithuania but I have lived abroad for a while now, having moved to Scotland for the uni and then moving to Germany where I stayed for the last four years (I'd like to think I am bringing the best that each of these cultures can offer ;) )

I like swimming, going to the cinema, gigs, visiting art galleries, as well as a chill evening at home with some trash tv and cocktails :) I am a fairly social person but completely respect everyone's space. When I have time, I enjoy cooking and baking, so would be happy to have flat dinners every once in a while (my current Italian flatmate needs a proof that he taught me how to make a proper carbonara well)! An added bonus (?) is the fact that I always attract misadventures, so I have plenty of ridiculous stories to entertain you on a rainy day.

Some fun facts about me: I have designed a tattoo, I once participated in a lecture on chickens, given by the prince of Japan, I did hip-hop dancing for a year (and would really like to restart!).
