I'm a pretty funny and chilled out kind of person. I mainly mind my own business but I don't want to be a stranger! I'm currently studying film and also work in the film/broadcast industry. My main occupation other than studying is doing local sports coverage as a camera operator but am also in the works of starting a broadcasting business. My main hobbies include casual games, almost anything film related, and just generally hanging out with friends. (Don't worry, I'm not the party type, more of a chill out and watch a movie, maybe some card games here and there). I'm looking for a place where the people are the main selling point. Just some nice, fun people to get along with. Something near public transport is a must because I do go to the city a lot but otherwise pretty flexible as I have all my own bedroom furniture and even my own TV which we can share :)
Hello! I study Applied Science (Psychology) at RMIT on Swanston Street and also work there full-time. I love animals (but do not have any of my own), clean up after myself and like cooking. I’m happy to join in on house dinners too!
Hi, I'm Trish, I am a lawyer and looking to live near the city..I am very tidy, respectful of other's people's privacy and space, at the same time i am sociable and enjoy a chat. I have 2 beautiful cats and i am hoping to rent a place that can accommodate them both or at least one.
Hi there. I'm Robin, a 26 years old IT student from Germany. I studied last year for one semester at Swinburne University and fell immediately in love with Melbourne. So extended my stay by another few months (one year at the maximum), in order to gain some working experience in Australia. The length of my stay depends mostly on my work situation, so I'd prefer to stay flexible about the move-out date, but I'm sure we can find a deal that suits both of us. I'm well experienced living in a shared flat, so you can be sure, that I keep my things tidy. I'm always up for social cooking, a chat in the kitchen or a drink at the weekend. Most people say that I am an easy going person and roommate with the utmost respect for other's belongings. I love to cook, have a passion for programming and can often be found in the boulder gym. I'm looking for friendly, respectful and active flatmates. I' looking forward to meeting you! :)
Hello potential roomies. i am 29 yrs old I am Clean, neat, tidy, bit laid back individual. I currently work part time as a security guard in the city for the local government most of my work lies on the weekends and is 12hrs long 7-7 so I hope any potential room mates aren't bothered by this as i'd probably be coming home late. Also Kitchen with basics to cook and eat with. i am happy to buy some crockery to have meals etc and if people want to do shared dinners i am willing to pitch my pot and buy ingredients and contribute to a meal. As i know living out of home is hard :X preferences I Would like all bills, electricity gas water etc & internet included in this so I may B-Pay rent & all bills etc when due. Enthusiast French student coming to Australia for a 4 month internship as Assistant Engineer. Very easy to live with, I can accomodate with practicly anyone (except if you hate listening to music, but who is like that anyways ?) I can be wild & extremelly motivated when the situation calls for it, but also very calm when need to. I rarely say no to a night out, especially in a place like Melbourne I wish to discover. Hope I will find great people to live with !
Hi everyone I’ve just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa with the intention to stay longer. I’m looking for some awesome flatmates to live with, I’m 25 years old and originally from South Africa. I’m currently looking for work, back home I was a risk consultant. I’m loving Australia so far and would love to live with people who feel the same. I’m clean, respectful, like socialising and having fun, but also like some down time.
Full time working chef, into health and fitness. At work a lot of the time. Quiet, respectful, easy going, friendly nature, kind. Prefer a clean and tidy house, happy to share chores. Always tidy around the house, would prefer the same from a fellow housemate. Please feel free to chat with me if you have any questions, more than happy to answer.
Hey I’m Kyle. I work permanent part-time as a Admin Manager for a gym and studying Cert III & IV in personal training. While I’m not working I love being at home chilling out with Netflix and some good banta with my roomies. I also like having time to myself in my room getting some me time. I’m very easygoing and respectable. I know how to clean up after myself and I’m looking for the same kind of people who respect eachothers privacy and space :)
Hey -- I'm Jeremy. I work full-time in cyber security, working pretty standard hours. I'm a social dude, super considerate, adventurous and always up for chilling. Looking to move out into a place that has a cool vibe with chill mates that's also fun and active -- not looking for a stagnant place. Hit me up for a conversation. I also come with 25% of Telstra internet and a really cool salt and pepper shaker.
I've been in Melbourne for a couple years since relocating from Queensland to escape the humidity. Working full-time hours in disability support and studying my final year of nursing so looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel! During time off, you can find me at a boardgame cafe in the city for a chill day which i'm always keen to introduce interested people to, or whether permitting, spending time outside trying to make the most of what Melbourne has to offer. I've just gotten back into cycling so would love to be nearby easily accessible bike paths. I'm looking for a house with friendly people that are happy to be social over dinner or catch up during the day, but likewise can keep a relaxed home atmosphere. Get in touch if you are looking for something similar :)
Hi there, my name is Sharni. I am a 34 year old single Melbourne-born girl looking for a private room for a stay of at least six months (or longer), as the house where I am currently living is due to go to auction on May 25. Ideally I would like to live with between one and three other housemates. I am working full-time in Docklands in the financial services industry (admin/customer service), working Mon-Fri daytime hours on a rotating roster. I love going out to the cinema and theatre shows, and like going on weekends away. I adore sharing stories about travel, too. I am a talkative person who likes being sociable but I also like quiet time as well, so I'm not looking for a party household. I think your home should be your haven that you care for and look forward to relaxing in when you come home. I would like to live with open-minded people who don't have a problem with occasional visitors in the privacy of one's room. To me, cleanliness, communication, honesty, responsibility and respect being maintained amongst all housemates is the key to a good household. I am looking for a place that is within walking distance to a train station or a tram to the city (no more than a 20 minute walk away max). I will consider any inner-city suburb (within 15 km of Melb CBD) I don't have a set moving date, but approx early-May to mid-June is when I would be wanting to move in (flexible depending on when the room is available) Non-smoker. I don't have any pets myself but I love animals.
I am Saleh, recently moved to Melbourne. I am a friendly person and very open to live with people from different countries. I want to share/rent a flat/room with someone. I love clean and neat accommodations and can't appreciate dirty places. I am very well-organised and want to go to bed early, so I can't stay late and of course not looking for a party house. Non-smokers and those don't have pets are preferable. If you think I am right person to share your property with me, please contact me.
Hi I'm Darcy! Super chilled person looking for a relaxed and social house hold. Wanting to meet new and interesting people with positive vibes. I work full time Monday to Friday in Transport & Logistics but am planning to study at uni in the near future. I am a responsible, clean and respectful individual who always pays their bills/rent on time. I'm usually out and about on the weekend but also love some me time relaxing at home. Always down to have a glass of wine and have a good chat at the end of the day while watching some shows on Netflix. I have a 7 year old dog with me as well. His name is Talon and he is a very sweet boi. He is very well behaved, trained and friendly. He mostly lies around all day sleeping. Very much a people dog and loves cuddles!
I am 36 years old Indian ethnic male, working full time in Abbostford and studying part time at RMIT.I have been sharing places in Melbourne since 2007. Hi! My name is Tara, I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 5 years and I'm from Wollongong. I work full time as a myotherapist in the city and for an AFL team and in my spare time I play a bit of soccer and do gym/pilates myself. I'm fairly extroverted but totally fine to do my own thing. I love cooking and am pretty organised about food since I'm quite busy through my week. I am very positive and motivated and for some down time I like to get out for food, a cheeky wine or other activities. I am just coming out of a long term relationship, and I feel a little excited for some independence and a new home galpal. Please message if you have any questions ! BTW I have a car I need a spot for (not too fussy where), I am clean and I'm in my lease supposed to be until July but flexible with move dates.
Hi my name is Alannah. I'm starting a new job in Melbourne on 23/04/19 but will come down sooner. Job is permanent full time shift work. I need a quiet and secure environment in order to help me settle into the city. I'm looking for flatmates that are quiet, respectful and clean. Not a party person. Not likely to ever bring other people over. I prefer to go out to socialise. No kids or pets, although I don't mind animals. Is quiet, clean and respectful. As a flatmate I generally keep to myself but I don't mind the occasional chat every now and again. I need a suitable place asap. Ideally somewhere more permanent.
I am a mature but fun and outgoing corporate professional relocating from Sydney for work. I live minimally and enjoy the simple things in life such as good food and good wine. My hobbies include anything beach related, working out and having a beer after a long week at work. I am looking for a potential person in which we can rent out our own 2-bedder. I am quite flexible with location as long as it is within a 30-min commute to the CBD. My interests are; Traveling, UFC, and all things weeb (grew up a nerd)!
I am currently busy studying in Hawthorn and working in Camberwell. Looking for some lovely housemates to either team up with or move in with. I also have a gorgeous fluffy kitty named Luna. A little about me... I'm a rather social gal but do also appreciate down time. When I'm not working I'm probably at uni but when I get a spare moment I write about movies and work out. I also love to cook (and bake) for buddies and love a cheeky cider. I'm caring and considerate and neat and would love some housemates to match! I have a few furniture bits and pieces to contribute if need be as well. A bit about Luna... Luna is the most beautiful cat who likes to chirp and nap. She is a strictly indoor cat so I'll need to live with people who are comfortable with that :) Please send me a message if you feel you have something in common with me or just want to see pictures of Luna.
