I am looking for friendly share house, my current lease expires early March so I'm looking for somewhere for late feb/early March. I like to catch up and have a drink or dinner and a chat at the end of the day, so social housemates would be preferable. I work full time in the public service and study part time, so I'm not looking to move into a crazy party house. If there's anyone out there keen to help me stay fitness-motivated, that would also be a massive benefit! In general I am looking for a hygienic house, happy people, wireless internet and good ju-ju are a must. I'm looking for either an established share house or happy to also set up one from scratch with others.
Hey there! My name is Delisa, I'm 18 years old and from Germany :-) I am on a working holiday in Australia for 4 months and currently doing in internship in Melbourne. So I look for a place to stay for two months (January - March). I would love to live with people around my age to spend a nice time together! I am a really tolerant, open - minded and helpful person ;-) I would love to hear from you! xoxo Delisa
Hi! We're Hugo and Laura, looking for a place to live within a share house. Hugo works in the CBD as a software sales rep and Laura is studying Nutrition and works at a gym in South Yarra. We both highly value cleanliness and a friendly environment, hence we are looking for likeminded and organised people to live with! We're not that couple who segregates themselves from others at all times and both love meeting new people and expanding our friendship circles. We're ideally looking to move into an established household or a team up arrangement with another couple or some like-minded people and can realistically move in from mid-Feb. If we sound like the kind of couple you'd like to open your door to we'd love to speak further!
Hi, I'm a quiet person who's laid back and easy to get along with, and am looking for accommodation to be able to work in Camberwell. I'm keep things neat and tidy and make sure I do my share of the house work.
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study next year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hiya, I'm potentially moving from Rockhampton, Queensland to Melbourne to study full-time at Swinburne University as well as work. I have recently graduated from high school with an OP2 (ATAR 98) and work two casual jobs, one at retail and one in an arts/framing store. Being a student, I will keep mostly to myself throughout the day but will always be up for a chat/dinner/TV binge in the evening. I'm quite tidy, laid back and love to have a good laugh. As I am moving interstate, I would love to have a housemate who is willing to show me around Melbourne and is interested in going out and socialising occasionally. I'm not a big alcohol drinker (but I'll gladly share one every now and again), I don't smoke nor do I do drugs. I'm looking for someone is happy, tidy and respectful. Simply put, I am looking for a friend. Hope to hear from you soon, Meg
I’m an easy-going 25-year-old female, working full-time as a paramedic. I work a roster of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, which means sometimes coming home between midnight and 3am, but I can assure you I’ve become very good at sneaking around so I don’t wake anyone! I keep pretty busy socializing with friends, hitting the gym, and going out for brunch/dinner. When at home, I keep a clean and tidy space, and enjoy cooking healthy meals, sleeping (love a good nap), binge-watching Netflix, and sharing stories over a bottle of wine. I am looking to move further in towards the city to take advantage of the city lifestyle.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I'm a Kiwi who has been living and working in Melbourne since last year. I have been flatting for around 5 years in a few different places so I am used to living with others. I like to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym and playing sports. As I have not been in Australia long I will often be out and about seeing what there is to do! When at home, I like to chat with the flatties, watch movies and chill out. I regularly cook my dinners and lunches but will eat out occasionally. Would definitely like to meet the other flatmates and see the place before moving in.
My name is Trevor. I'm 31 years old and work full-time in Blackburn. I'd like to believe that I would be the perfect house mate as I am happy to cook, make sure I clean up after myself and will definitely be punctual with bills etc. I'm happy to share a meal and/or a drink or even a movie/tv series marathon, but also keep to myself at times. I try to keep myself fit by getting to the gym most mornings (yes I said try). I am looking for a place with preferably only 1 female housemate, someone who I can build a friendship with and create a fun and relaxing household. If you think this sounds like you please shoot me a message. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I am looking for a room to rent 2-3 nights per week. I live in the outer suburb of Berwick and work in the CBD. To break up the week for me I would like to spend a few nights closer to the city. I am very busy with my work, a non smoker and very tidy.

Hi There, I'm looking for people who are looking to team up to create a home in the inner suburbs (Richmond preferably) About me, I am a clean individual who enjoys a glass of wine and good food at the end of the day. I work full time & own a business so i'm kept fairly busy. I used to be a chef many moons ago so I do like having my home as a sanctuary for good food and did I mention wine? My cat (Leo) is an affectionate little bundle of energy who is well trained. Anyhoo if you are after the same things get in touch.
I'm Cindy ,from Indonesia ,21 yrs old. I'm gonna study at Swinburne University at Hawthorn Campus which will start from 20th Feb. Major in Computer Science, Semester 5. I am looking for a room to stay in. I'll be there at 17th of Feb, so I need a room start from that date. Well, to describe my self, I'm a kind of easy going person, I am also like hanging out with friends during the weekend. I am quite serious at studying, so I wish the flatemates won't be too noisy. I am also clean and tidy. I wish no pets (cat/dog) inside the house since I am quite scared of them. I am also a non smoker.
About me? I'm a crazy cat Mumma to one beautiful affectionate little kitty cat 🐱, I'm housetrained, i clean up after myself (and the cat obvs), I love good coffee (and where else but Melbourne to get it), I love America, I'm a penguins (NHL) and Ravens (NFL) fan and I currently live in Murrumbeena and have so for almost a year. I'm looking for people who are hard workers (during the week) who don't mind a drink or two on the weekend and who like family dinners (I like to cook when I can). My max is $200 per week, so looking for a big enough place with enough people that we can share bills and rent equally! Thanks in advance!

Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
Hey Guys, I'm currently studying a Masters in Occupational Therapy at Swinburne. I'm a super friendly, respectful and easy going person who can make pretty good banana bread. I love having a drink and laugh with people after uni/work, going out with friends, listening to music, and watching TV shows such as Brooklyn 99 and Parks and Rec. Basically I'm just looking for some fun, friendly and relatively clean people to move in with. Let me know if you want to know anything else about me. Nat.
Easy going and positive person. Looking for someone who also enjoys keeping a clean and peaceful space. I work full time and will be back at uni this year so I won't be at home a lot. I am a social person but also like spending at home. In my spare time I like to explore the city, see friends, go to the gym, and read and write.
I am a 19 year old student currently studying at Swinburne University, i also work part time in the city. I have previously been living with my three sisters in Oakleigh, but am looking to live closer to both uni and work. I am clean, quiet but am also always up for a good time.
Helloo, We are a young couple moving from a small beach town near Byron Bay to Melbourne in February. We have just had a year off doing full time work, and travelling Europe together for 4 months. We are laid back, friendly, independent and clean. We love cooking for ourselves and others, having a drink, relaxing with some nice tunes, and taking our 2 year old Boxer dog out. We both have artistic hobbies, that usually take up a lot of our free time, but we also love gathering with friends and having a fun night out (or in). Zeus is our 2 year old Boxer Dog. We absolutely love him and couldn't imagine living without him. He is well trained, loving, and extremely entertaining. Zeus will need a yard, although we are not all that worried on the size, as we take him out everyday. We will be super excited to hear from anyone who is also looking for a pet friendly abode. Our budget is around $350 for the 2 of us.
I am Harvey Randhawa, I am 20 years old and coming to Melbourne for my Higher education. I am a extrovert person and fun to be around with. I like to travel on motorcycle to unknown roads and love to play football. Hygiene is my top priority and love to have a clean surrounding near me.
After 4 years travelling we are looking to settle in Melbourne. Very clean and friendly, easy to get a long with. Like to read and enjoy jazz sounds with a blues backing and a glass of wine.
I've just recently moved over from New Zealand. I work in an organics store in Balwyn, so I often bring lots free tasty organic food home. In my spare time I like to do parkour, and I read quite a bit, lots of non-fiction, about things like; gardening, philosphy, sociology, autobiographies, etc. I also used to be a chef, so I'm pretty keen on cooking. I like to think I'm pretty good to live with :) Cheers, Theo
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (photography) at RMIT in the city. Before I moved to Melbourne in January 2016 I was a journalist for a country newspaper and have since moved away from writing and started using my cameras a lot more (including film and vintage polaroids). This year I hope to start a personal blog to maintain the passion I have for writing. I photograph music and people. I have worked for Groovin the Moo and Falls Festivals and many renowned artists and bands in the three years since I decided to pursue photography as a lifelong career. When I'm not taking photographs I play music, both guitar and piano and this year I am taking up vocal lessons with the hope to pursue a solo music project I've had in mind for quite some time. I'm originally from the country and moved from rural South Australia in January 2016 to begin studies here in Melbourne. I am now in my second year of a three-year course and will need to secure accommodation before the end of February. For the meantime, I am currently staying with my friends in Ferntree Gully. I have been a club photographer and do enjoy being social, going out for dinner, drinks, brunch, coffee and engaging in great conversation and building friendships, something I didn't really get to experience in the sharehouse I was in last year. I am a neat, tidy and sometimes quiet person who enjoys their quiet time just as much as the social side of things. This year I hope to find a bubbly, friendly, mature and sensible household to become part of as I believe that surrounding yourself with the right people with an abundance of positive vibes and energy will only stimulate my creativity and really fulfil the expectations I have placed on making this year my own, as well as an uplifting and rewarding year for the people around me too. I know I got a little bit long with this but I hope to find a great sharehouse or even something to myself by the end of February or else I might have to put my degree on hold or something as I will have no means of accommodation here in Melbourne and I really, really don't want that to happen. P.S I am also a huge dog lover, I miss my furry friend back home so badly, but if you have a dog, it is certainly no issue, it would actually be a huge benefit.
I'm working full-time as an Assistant Project Manager in Hawthorn East. I'm outgoing, sociable, play a lot of sport during the week, friendly, clean, trustworthy, organised, don't smoke, am easy to get along with, flexible, caring, love a good drink and always pay bills on time. I am currently renting with two others in Hawthorn and have been for the last 10+ months, but am **LOOKING TO MOVE OUT IN EARLY/LATE MARCH**. **WILL ONLY LOOK AT UNFURNISHED BEDROOMS.** I dont have too much furniture, just a bed, TV, chest of draws, clothes and a couple of bedside tables and thats it! I have a car and will require parking (preferable undercover and off the street).
Hi, I'm a 28 years old Mexican international student looking for a room on the eastern suburbs. I work in kew as a cleaner supervisor (I'm sure you won't have a cleaning problem with me) and study IT at the CBD 3 days a week. Currently I have contract at my current apartment until the end of January, but I wouldn't have a problem on moving in before that time. I will have a busy schedule a few days but I'm normally free during the weekends and couple of weekdays to hang out, stay at home or do small road trips. I also have a PS4 to share and a TV. Other than that, I'm crazy about soccer and I dislike the Mexican food we all can buy at common restaurants, but I'll be happy to cook some original recipes for you. I almost don't drink at all and I'm don't smoke nor use drugs. I hope to hear from you guys soon and meet my new flatmates.
Hey! My name is Bri and I'm 24, here on a working holiday visa from the States. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April of 2015 and decided I wanted to do a bit of travelling and living abroad before diving into a career back home. I have been here in Melbs for almost 7 months working as a live-in au pair. Living with the family I work for, I definitely know how to respect others space and privacy, as well as maintaining a tidy living space. I consider myself to be a healthy mix of extrovert and introvert. I'm all about having a good time, catching up with friends--whether it be going out for drinks, brunch, or a good hike--but I also enjoy my nights in with some red and a movie :) I consider myself to be very friendly and personable, and I can adapt pretty well to whatever my surroundings are. I'm also open to pets! I'll love whatever dog or cat you have as my own.
I'm a country girl who's starting her first year of university at Victoria University in the city campus. I love to cook and I'm mature for my age, as well as being a workaholic, I'm quiet and neat. At the moment, I'm working for a catering company and cleaning houses
I am Nat, a 28 year old working and studying professional looking for an awesome house or apartment to move into in Jan 2017. I am originally half Russian and half Estonian and im from Estonia (if you know where that is ... ) I am in the middle of my Studies to be Myotherapist. Im looking at moving to Melbourne city or a 30mins (at the very most) radius by train/tram to get to the city. I am outgoing and super relaxed and fun to live with but sometimes I need alone time and respect privacy. Am extremely clean and well organised! My budget is 200-230*if its super nice 240 is good as well haha.. I am not looking for student apartments or apartments/houses where are more than 3 housemates. Perfect age would be 23-35 females or males. Outside of work and Uni I love going to gigs, socialising, exercising, traveling and getting to the beach when Melbourne decides to shine a little. Sunday Sessions is always a good idea. Long boarding and surfing is fun activity as well. In the winter time I am away all weekends at Mount Hotham. I just love snowboarding too much. Let me know if i am perfect candidate for you.
Hi there! I’m making the move from Brissy to Melbourne to start full-time post grad at Deakin and looking for a swell share house to call home! ABOUT ME: I’m originally from country Queensland, but have been living in Brisbane for the past 5 years while studying and working. Friends would describe me as funny, easy-going, and tolerant (you do you basically). I’m starting my Masters in Cultural Heritage, so if ya want some fun facts about history, I’m your gal. Love a good chat about politics and current affairs, but also a cheeky trashy TV sesh (disclaimer, I will yell at the TV during the Bachelor). Love getting out an about (hiking/markets/beach trips etc). Not a massive party animal, but would rarely turn down a beer and a boogie. Only been to Melbourne a handful of times, so I’m pretty keen to explore and meet new people! IDEAL HOUSE: I’ve always lived in a close-knit share house, so looking for a place where people don’t mind a mix of socialising together (beers/brunch) and doing their own thing. Like everyone, I get pretty busy during the week studying/working/volunteering, so like to just chill out when I’m at home. If there's ever any issues, I’d rather people just be honest and open, it’s a massive time saver and we’re all adults. Most of the bills in my current share house come out of my account so I’m down with the importance of paying on time! I’m clean (I find vacuuming oddly therapeutic) and respectful of people space. Ideally looking for a place around 150-160 a week + bills DISCLAIMER: I’ll be heading to Germany for 5 months around mid September as part of my Masters so need to be somewhat flexible with length of stay. I'll also be looking for part-time work once I move down, but because I'm a super cool, forward thinking adult, 100% set to cover all my expenses while I'm searching.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada! I've been in Melbourne for a month now. Staying for at least a year. I work for a charity here, studied Law back home. I enjoy old-school music, a drink with cool people and new places. I'm looking to live with friendly people who enjoy sharing interesting stories and experiences, but also appreciate an individual's need for space at certain times. Balance is key. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am an active, professional guy looking for a relaxed/tidy place to live. Outside of work I like heading to the nearest basketball court, going to the gym, generally hanging out and going out for breaky. I work in a corporate role and work standard business hours. I would describe myself as relaxed, friendly and honest. I will be looking to move in shortly.
I'm an easy going, happy to talk shit, and slightly dopey aerospace engineering student. I am a window cleaner when I'm not at uni, so the windows will (probably) be nicely kept. Preferred price is around $170 per week, maximum $220 including bills/internet. The lower the cost the better though! ;) For the next two years i'll be studying at RMIT Bundoora. So i could be down for a lease which is that long. Just got to find the right home! I'm hoping to make a few new friends, knuckle down to focus on my study, and live in a lighthearted and chilled environment. I play indoor soccer every week, and am always keen to play sports, or throw a Frisbee. Or just be out-doors to have a gander.
Hey all, I cant believe how hard it is to find the perfect house! Im a non smoker, not partier and very tidy. I respect everyone including my housemates and their guests. I work full time in Northcote, I enjoy eating out, travelling the world, playing and watching all sports and also enjoy latin dancing. I dont cook a great deal but if I do is generally a great roast or pasta dish. Im looking for housemates that respect each others possessions and privacy but also enjoy socialising and having a chat or chill out together. (I will share my wine stash with you). I also have a big tv and ps4, and love video games. (prefer to keep in my own room) Ideally id love a private room with ensuite. But it isnt a dealbreaker. Message me soon! Brad
Hi there, I am an outgoing and friendly girl! I am from Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne, as I will be working full time as a nurse in a large hospital. I am tidy and organised. I value my own personal space and respect others. I am not looking for a party house, however I do love going out and have a active social life. I am looking for a place I can call home and feel comfortable living in. I would happily enjoy catching up and enjoying a meal or a beverage with my housemate/s. I am SO in love with Melbourne and super excited to explore it, and all it has to offer. I love going out for brunch/ dinner and love good coffee. Looking forward to potentially meeting you..
In feb, I will start my career as a nurse at a well known hospital in the city. I love my own space just as much as I love socialising. More then happy to have a drink, or enjoy a meat and cheese platter! I am from a country town, but have previously rented in the outskirts of Melbourne before, by myself and with a room mate. Bills/rent have always been paid on time and have always gotten my full bond back . I will be doing shift work, so finding tenants that are okay with this is very important, as well as having tenants happy for me to have friends over every now and then. I am very easy going, laid back, minimal. I enjoy going out for dinner, drinks, adventures and definitely the beach! Ideally, I would be looking for a room with wardrobes an ensuite.
Hi everyone! My current lease is ending, and I'm looking to move in to a new share house. I'm currently taking a year off uni and working hospo to save some money before I start my honours in criminology and social theory in July. I love zipping around on my bike, practicing yoga and reading. I'm working a lot which means I'm not home heaps, but when I am I love cooking up a big feed, or heading the pub for beers and pool. I've got a bit of a green thumb, so a decent back yard to do some gardening in would be awesome. Just shoot me a message if you'd like to know anything else :)
I'm Gee, 25 years old and moving out of home for full-time work as a lawyer in Abbotsford so a place Inner East would be a godsend. Lived in NYC for a couple of months last year so have a bit of share house experience. I'm not looking for a party house and prefer a quiet and pleasant home to come back to after work, and somewhere close to great brunch spots for the weekend! I'm clean, chill and definitely love wine & chats although I understand boundaries. I have a partner so ideally I'd like a place where my housemate/s don't mind if he comes around. He has his own place though, so at the most it would be once a week. We're respectful, and so far have had no issues with his housemates, so hopefully this isn't a deal breaker! My other requirement is a place with off street parking or a parking permit. If you like the sound of this, send me a message and we can get talking :)
Hi Everyone, I am currently working full time in the CBD area and looking to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the CBD area. About me: I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
I'm a 19 year old student looking to move to Melbourne from country Victoria to attend university. I will be studying a double degree of business and media at Swinburne University. I hope to find a furnished room, preferably sharing with other students. I'm looking for flatmates that are easy going, enjoy staying in to watch movies, and going out to eat good food and have a drink. I hope to be able to form a friendship with the people I will live with. Im easy going and have a good sense of humour. I like movies, music and have a love for dogs!
I am a 23 year old who works full time in the city. I will be out most of the day, and I like to keep it quiet during the week. On the weekends I go out, for brunches, dinners or a night out but I do enjoy a quiet weekend now and then. I am a tidy, respectful and easygoing person who you can share a meal or drink with now and then. I will also respect your personal space and privacy. I like to cook and clean, and to keep a tidy place.

I am a full-time student studying architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I am not after party, smoking and drug. I enjoy having a night in with take out and a DVD, but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share each other stories and happy time. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. I hope my room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 3 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February.
Hey there, I’ll start off with a few things about myself. My name is sarina, I’m turning 21 in a month, I work part-time in a call centre and part-time also playing video games for money (I know that’s a little weird haha). My hair colour changes more than I’ve had hot dinners and I also like dogs (but I don’t have one, but it’s okay – god bless the internet and its unlimited supply of them). I’m a pretty big nerd so most of the things I own are entirely gaming related. I’ve lived in my current place for almost 3 years now but I’m looking to change to somewhere closer to the city because of work; so my stay would definitely be long-term. I’m very clean (thanks to my ocd mum haha) and I’m also pretty quiet, but I get excited over everything and have more energy than I should. I’d be in my room 90% of the time because of gaming & streaming online. I don’t drive so I don’t need any car space etc. My only big thing about moving is the internet speeds, I get it might sound silly but it could hinder my other career. If you're not sure what the speeds are or how to check just head to www.speedtest.net – I’m also looking to move ASAP or when the house is available! If I sound like someone you could probably put up with for a while, let me know! FYI: I live in Melbourne lul
I am a 24-year-old female student from San Francisco, California and will be studying Communication and Media Studies for a semester at Swinburne University! I am a lover of all things creative: dance, graphic design, fine arts, photography, and good food. I'm a huge music head and love attending shows in my spare time. I'm always on the go and often found at the coffee shops or exploring unique parts of different cities! I'm super flexible, friendly, and openminded.
Recently started working in Surrey Hills and looking for another to teamup and find a house in the area to share with me and my very friendly dog.
