I am a PhD student from Italy who arrived in Australia in August, and I am currently searching for a room to stay in for as long as possible. I will stay in Australia for at least three more years, and I would prefer not to change my house too often.
I am a funded industry-based PhD student, meaning I have no issues with paying my rent on time. I spend the majority of my days at the office, and it's not uncommon for me to be away for a few days due to work commitments. I also enjoy traveling when work allows.
I am seeking a place where I can feel at home, engage in conversations with my flatmates, while also respecting each other's privacy and independence. I don’t smoke, and although I appreciate a glass of wine during the week and some beers over the weekend, however I am not a heavy drinker. While I enjoy cooking, my weekdays are often busy, leaving me with limited time.
I have a passion for sports and regularly engage in activities like gym workouts or going for a run. I love hiking and I hope to restart surfing very soon.
