I just moved to Melbourne two weeks ago from Berlin. I am about to start my PhD project in Chemistry\Biotechnology at the Uni Melbourne.
On the one hand I would describe myself as very nerdy and introverted, because I am normally very much into science. But I also love to hang out with people and get to know new ones and talk about random stuff for hours and hours. I love doing art (mainly painting), music and being part of feminist groups. During the weekdays I am normally at Uni in the lab, but on the weekend I like to go out and spend time with people. I love to go to queer bars or techno clubs, but also adore a nice chill Sunday brunch with book shopping afterwards.
And because of my Croatian\Bosnian background, I can offer you a bunch of nice balkan foods!
For flatmates I am mainly looking for FLINTA and/or queer people to share a house/apartment with. I would describe myself as a clean. I sometimes can be messy but mainly in my own rooms. I try to keep shared spaces as clean as possible.
I am going to stay in Melbourne for nearly 2 years, but I am also fine with short term, if we fit.
