ME: I’m 29, work full time in marketing, and am equal parts chatty and zen. I’m a homebody at heart but am often at the gym, dance, or visiting the family. When I’m not over-researching my every decision on the internet, I like to mull over the meaning of life with a glass of wine in hand. IDEAL PLACE: I’ve got a car, so a dedicated car space would be great, but a permit at the least. I’m looking to live very close to a public transport stop, as I get a little nervous walking down backstreets after dark - can you blame a gal? And of course, some outdoor space would be amazing... a sunny courtyard, or a balcony (with any view other than a wall, or the neighbours window). IDEAL HOUSEMATE(S): Person/people similar to myself – preferably female, 25-35, tidy, friendly, relaxed, and good balance of being at home and out. Would love that sweet family vibe, having TV nights and chats over dinner every now and then :)
Hey, I'm Gareth, a 29 year old backpacker from the UK. I'm pretty relaxed, friendly, clean and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym and having a drink every now and then.
Hello! It's Madeline from Malaysia. Currently looking for a place to stay preferably somewhere in South Melbourne as I will be studying there. I'm a very easy-going person and always seeking new adventures and also meeting new people! I enjoy going outside and staying active for most of my free-time but when I don't feel so much like a Wonder Woman, I like to stay in and chill with a book and a cup of tea. If its a bonus, I'm a dog person. 😊☺️
I am an outgoing 24 year old currently working in Finance in the construction industry. I work hard and after work I like to go to the gym or see friends. I am not much of a party animal, but I do enjoy the occasional night out at a pub/bar (most weekends). I am super clean and tidy but also chill and fun to be around. My lease is about to finish so trying to find somewhere just as good as my current place and your home looks great! Been living in Richmond for a year in a brand new town house. I’ve been living with 3 others in my current place and we got on really well. Sad to be leaving them, but we are all going separate ways. I also come with my very miniature dachshund Woody. I’ve been told he’s the cutest dachshund people have ever met and is fully house trained. Have not had issues with him at all living in a brand new house and he just stays on the balcony during the day when I’m at work. Looking to share with 1 other or a couple.
I currently work as a Barista and study baking at the same time, easygoing, open-minded, tidy and honest. I love reading, hiking, running, yoga etc after work or class. I'm also a foodie and would like to have a coffee to hang out with friends and housemates in this lovely city, getting outdoors and adventures. I’m not a party person but enjoy sharing a meal or going out together. Hope we can bring vibes to each other. Looking for a long term place where I could call home, love pets and plants, location and move in day is flexible for me. Hope to hear from you! Cheers!
Originally from Manila (of Chinese heritage) but recently lived in Singapore for the last 8 years teaching at an international school. Will be attending Melb Uni for grad studies. I enjoy music and I'm excited to check out the festivals and concert scene. I'm also a foodie and would love to try the best of Melbourne. Looking for a quiet, tidy, safe and comfortable place for the duration of my studies. I don't smoke, have no pets but don't mind living with one.
What's up possible flatmates, hows it going? My name is Renato, I'm a 27 year old Brazilian international student currently working in hospo at the CBD. I've been living in Melbourne for over 1.5 years now and, after spending the summer travelling overseas, I've decided to find a new place to call my own. I'm super clean and tidy, always pay rent on time, very respectful of others privacy but love to go and grab some cold ones with my flatmates on the weekends. I also love to cook so dinner dates with the housemates are always something fun for me
I study physics, do a bit of IT consulting, mostly I focus on my hobbies. I like to climb, cook, read, play a bit of guitar, ride my bike. I'm particularly easygoing, originally from the northern rivers of NSW. I have a veganish diet but am wholly unfazed by the dietary choices of others. I've got a fairly varied background so tend to get along well with most anyone. I want to live with people similarly socially and environmentally conscious, that is to say friendly and considerate.
Hi ! We are a French guys in couple, me 22 and Dylan 23, looking for a new home. We used to live with flatmates for years. We are looking for more than just a flathouse. We are really chill, respectful and sociable guys, and we like to share, hang out, have a drink some times and do activities, and why not become really friends. We are looking for a home with people who think like us. Tell me if you are Interested about our profil, and may be an interview to see your room 🙂
I am a 27 year old French Backpacker looking for an apartment near Fitzroy and Collingwood for 3 months at least and maybe more. I think I am someone friendly, open-minded, I like different styles of music, the sea, nature in general, hiking, aperitif and meet people from all over the world If you're still looking for a new roommate I'm happy to meet you when you want, why not right now ! Best Regards Lucas
I am very easy to get along with, I went traveling for 7 months in 2016 and met some wonderful people and just got back from 7 months studying abroad/traveling and I'm looking to settle down. I prefer to go out to bars or gigs and I am open to hanging out and getting a couple drinks with roommates. I am originally from the Mornington Peninsula and I love animals. I am currently studying Marketing at Monash University and work 2 jobs part-time.
Hi there! My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a new place to call home with my gorgeous 12 year old cat Puff. I work full time at a College and will often work the last 2 Saturdays of the month as well (meaning I can pay rent on time). I did live alone in a small one bedroom apartment in Toorak but as my lease is up in March I am wanting to live with other people again and in a busier, younger neighbourhood. I am looking to move between the 16th of Feb and the 20th of Feb. I come with all my own furniture but happy to get rid of it if I need with a bit of notice. I have been in share housing for 5 years before having my own place. I loved living alone but missed having other people around. I'm looking for somewhere to call home rather than just a place where I pay rent so I'd really love for us to get along. I love a Netflix binge, a good gossip over wine and the odd Saturday lay in. I am an avid ubereats enthusiast but happy to cook and share a meal with my future housies. Puff is a 12 year old indoor cat. He is a chubby all black (except his little grays, hes old) thing with a lot of personality. If he isnt laying in the sun living his best life He loves playing with his toys. Puff follows me around everywhere and is my little spoon of a night time. Since he is old he doesn't tend to ruin any furniture and loves a good cuddle (I sometimes find him sleeping on my chest when I wake up from a cheeky couch nap. ). I got him from a shelter about 6 months ago so we definitely come as a package deal. If you think my fur baby and I will be a good fit for your house please let me know! I'm starting to inspect houses now. Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm an exchange student at the University of Melbourne, studying arts. I'm very easy going, always up for a chat or wine/ share a meal but you might also find me binge watch a tv show that I just found. I'm really looking for a home and not only a house, and always keep the place as clean as I can.
Hey, my girlfriend and I just moved here from London, she works in fashion and I'm in software. Really easy going, love meeting new people and generally normal ha. Need somewhere to stay for a couple of months maybe more depending on jobs etc! Looking for a room/studio thats clean and in a vibrant area close to stuff!
From England and I’m a chef, so love to cook! I enjoy keeping active, various sports including football (soccer) Muay Thai. All up for meeting new people and making new friends, I’m quite a tidy person but laid back and can get along with pretty much anyone
I'm Hannah, 30 year old Brit moving to Melbourne from London in January 2019. I currently live in South West London, but it's finally time to take the plunge and move to the sun and the surf! I work in sport - massive fan of rugby and cricket, but you'll find me watching any sporting event! I'm keen on long brunches, cocktails with the girls and chilled nights in with a glass of red, and really love to meet new people. I'm always laughing (...or so my housemates tell me!), I'm tidy (but not a neat freak) and I make excellent fish tacos, even if I do say so myself. If this sounds like it could be a right fit, please get in touch!
Hi, we are two girls on a working holiday visa looking for a flat for about 3 to 6 months. We are looking for shared or private rooms, in a flat around the CBD area (or a little outside). Living in a hostel for too long we need to become more responsible and actually find somewhere to live. I like to do yoga (I'm still not very good at it), editing videos and spontaneous adventures. Brooke is a fan of American hockey, discovering new beaches and Goon. Pop us a message if you have a place for us! Charlotte & Brooke PS: I will bake bread, cakes and cookies if you have an oven
Self-employed creative professional. Part-time student. I love nature, painting, yoga and holistic living. I'm a pretty relaxed person. I have an independent nature and like my own space, but also love cooking, sharing food and time with friends. Respectful of peoples' boundaries, clean and tidy person and organised with paying bills on time etc Looking for a quiet house that feels like a home, and it would be great to live with housemates who have a similar peaceful vibe/flow. My routine tends to involve an early start, so finding a room that is quiet at night is important. I would prefer an all-female household, but flexible with this.
Heya! Thanks for taking the time to reading about me. I just started a course at RMIT and I'm keen on finding a energetic, friendly household of awesome people to live with while I study. I'm going back to Uni to study an associate degree of Information Technology, hopefully this will lead to a pathway into the Bachelor of Game Development and 3D Programming! Bit about me: > I'm a extroverted, queer and a bit of a social butterfly. I drink socially, non-smoker and am usually pretty keen on a good night out/adventure. \(^.^)/ > I adore turtles, well any animal really but turtles and reptiles are my fav. Dogs are the best people. <3 > In my spare time I practice coding, start projects, do art, play games and organize my life (shamelessly a nerd). (>o-o)> > I'm good with budgeting money and reliable with payments. I try constantly to be clean, respectful, supportive and friendly. :D If you have any questions feel welcome to message me!
I've done every job under the sun within hospitality and construction so I'm awesome at cleaning and at fixing things around the house. I cook damn good potatoes. Im from the UK planning to stay in Melbourne for at least a year and just started working restoring sash windows over here which is what I've been doing with myself in the UK (Brighton) for the last 4 years. I love condiments, good conversation, tea, live music, jenga, carving stuff out of wood and dancing to funk and soul in the shower. I recently won one of those light up spinny type pictures of Jesus at a pub quiz and if you don't think that would be an asset to your household then I think you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Looking for a chilled out house with people who don’t take themselves too seriously but also keep the place clean. Free to come round and have a look most evenings and looking to move into somewhere as soon as possible. Thanks muchly
