We’re a friendly, easy-going couple (one English, one Welsh) who have recently moved to Melbourne after living in Perth for the past year and a half. We’ve just returned from a month travelling through the Philippines and Bali and are now looking to settle in Melbourne.

Ideally, we’re after a one-bedroom apartment or a shared place with one other person or a couple, with a budget of up to $600 per week. Preferred areas include Port Melbourne, St Kilda, South Yarra, Richmond, Carlton or Fitzroy, though we’re open to other inner-city locations.

I work remotely for a gold mining company based in WA, and my partner is an electrician. We’re clean, respectful and reliable, and easy to live with.

We’re friendly and sociable but also happy to keep to ourselves depending on the household vibe. We enjoy the occasional glass of wine but aren’t party animals.

We’re looking for a place for around 6 months, ideally close to the city.
